  • There are three tenors and one baritone.......Which makes for a wonderful sound. I think these

four are the greatest to happen to the whole world. They will stay with us for eternity and

give much pleasure just hearing and seeing them perform......what a wonderful world!!!!

  • @Mohebz: They are two tenors, one baritone and one pop singer, and should be known as so, not three Spanish Tenors because there's only one Spaniard and he's a baritone!

  • If you ant to see another Amazing version of this amazing song, look for Christina Grimmie ^^

  • hmm how many people cried other than me :P amazing!

  • They are incredibly talented :D Also, they are so weird... Whenever they sing an English song, they always translate it to a romance language.

Now they sing a french song, and they translate it to english. XD

  • People here are saying that these are the best arrangements. I have just heard these and what a load of piffle. Like any other boring arrangements that have come before. David Clydesdale has orchestrated this like no other arrangement and Sandi Patty sings this too like no other. Professionals will notice this when they hear it from a musical and technical perspective. However, the average youtube listener will have no idea when it comes to the identification of these skills!

  • @blueglasses2 Yes, how dare people have different opinions than you when it comes to something as subjective as music. The nerve!

  • Anyone has the right to say what they feel, I am giving my views as a professional and it hurts when the wanabees and dilettantes are threatened!

You don't know me from Adam and I never make personal comments, only musical ones about renditions.

  • @blueglasses2 Why is it necessary to tear people down just to make yourself appear to be smarter? Why not simply suggest people listen to your preferred arrangements and let them decide for themselves...it is not necessary to be a "professional" to have an opinion and a reaction in your soul when listening to music!

  • If you can read, you will note from my past comments as to why I believe the Clydesdale and Patty's arrangement/rendition to be the best to date, due to full usage of certain musical and technical elements that are NOT there in any other arrangements.

I wonder if you have the analytical ability to detect performance differences etc.

I never make personal comments only musical ones, based on skill and expertise.

I am not a wanabee and dilettante.

  • @blueglasses2 I never accused you of being a 'wanabee and dilettante'...just a sanctimonious blowhard who believes he is above average and therefore can demean the likes of lesser mortals. No one cares whether you can detect 'certain musical and technical elements' that the 'average youtube listener' cannot.

People like music because it speaks to the soul, not because it meets some specified criteria .

I am simply suggesting that you don't get to dictate musical preference.

    Thank God for that!

  • Thank goodness I AM above average, it's made me realize there are such dimwits like you on youtube. I have NEVER demeaned anyone, you don't know me from Adam you stupid imbecil! Professionals in music always try to understand what makes makes music speak to the soul.

By the way, you have made this personal by your rudeness, you need a good slap!

  • @blueglasses2 just because this particular arrangement doesnt suit you does not mean that it is a bad version.and just because you have more knowledge of this particular subject does not mean that your opinion is held in higher regard than anyone elses...i am a musician as well and most would say that i am above average but i also know what it means to be humble, im just saying as a word of advice think before you speak next time because no offense but instead of coming across as intelligent

  • @blueglasses2 it just makes you sound like a pompous know-it-all asshole

  • @blueglasses2 it just makes you sound like a pompous know-it-all asshole

  • @esteban55200 and Anthony Callea, Jussi Bjorling and numerous others too.

  • @mairanya1 nunca he escuchado esas versiones, pero puede ser que si

  • I love Carlos. He's so sexy!!! His smirk, the mischievous look in his eyes... He's might be short in height, but his sexiness is big!

  • música maravilhosa...aqui no Brasil......Ó noite santa.......

  • cudownie ,wspaniałe, wruszające aż dech zapiera :)

  • Mmmmm Urs. ;)

  • I hate their faces when they sing :)

  • visit Zeitgeist ?

lol..... don't they think and advocate that Christmas is enslavement for humans and have been for thousands of years ?

then why would you advertise it on here ?

that's like advertising jihad on a tribute clip for 9-11

  • you have a point but I had posted the video long before I knew about Zeitgeist and I didn't want to remove the video because I like the song and I know a lot of people do too.

I dont' care about religion but I care about music.

    Peace.

  • while i understand the appreciation for the human voice....

the song has too much meaning to be dismissive.

I'd never upload and host a song about how great Richard Dawkins is.. or about the military conquests of Mohammed.

I like the economic viewpoints of Zeitgeist, but they are hostile to the belief sets of all monotheists.

Of course, it's your upload. I'm simply pointing out the conflicting story.

Peace and Merry Mass of Christ, 2009

  • bless you for your peaceful rational conclusion.

  • Dry your eyes and stop windging!!! xmas is about family and happiness. It brings da best out in everyone. Its sad dat people like yourself cant just let except a bit of happiness.

  • @heapymc

just reading your comment tell me your probably from hawaii

  • @russaac

Can't you just consider this song for all of the holidays that fall on December 25th? Christmas isn't the only one that has been around that time. Jesus wasn't even born in December. His birthday was moved there in order to make the pagans assimilate better into Christianity.

  • @russaac

    lol zeitgeist, r u serious?

  • @MrMatthew4892 Why wouldn't I be? The Zeitgeist Movement defends the practice of principles which Christianity stands for, such as, abundance for everyone.

  • @russaac

not many people give credit to this movement becasue it was shown to be false, no real reliable sources. not just saying that becasue im Christian.

and i dont really know what you mean when you say Christianity stands for abundance for everyone.

"Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution" - 2 Timothy 3:12

  • @MrMatthew4892 "Love one another as I have loved you"; "Ask and you shall receive" and there's a short parable where Christ creates wine and fish for everyone at the wedding party to name a few.

Have you actually seen the documentaries? If not, do it and then come an discuss them. Until then, don't waste my time.

  • @russaac taking the verses out of context there tho imo... @MrMatthew4892, not really practical to 'discuss' over the net anyways lol.. i've seen snippets of zeitgeist parts... let's not waste each others' time now shall we? Merry Christmas!

  • @shaoyuri "love one another as I have loved you" and "ask and you shall receive" don't need to put into context as they are the context itself or some of the basic principles for Christianity. At least that's how I perceive them. Peace.

  • @shaoyuri it's never a waste of time to argue over new ideas and projects, as long as there's some background research. even if it's not practical, it's necessary.

  • @russaac

"ask and you shall receive" - does not mean God gives you everything one selfishly wants. When you ask sincerly, you will find God's truth and salvation.

that water into wine at the wedding was not a parable. and the feash and bread in the feeding of the 5000 was alson not a parable. they were miricals.

True Christians should be ready 2 give up all they have

Lots of people mock the documentaries because they make up stuff. Lots of athiests even reject it as reliable at all.

  • @MrMatthew4892 If you'd actually read what the Zeitgeist Movement advocates or the Venus Project is all about you'd hear the scientist Jacque Fresco saying that language is always subject to interpretation. When you say things like "selfishly" or "sincerely" it's all open to interpretation. How can you know when someone is being selfish or sincere and btw those are not opposite attributes. I can be sincere while being selfish.

  • @MrMatthew4892 On another note it is indeed a parable. It's called the parable of loaves and fishes.

Whether they were miracles or not I do not know, I wasn't there to see and I'm humble enough to confess that I actually don't know what happened in a particular place on earth 2000 years ago because I don't have any physical evidence to support it.

  • @russaac What happend with Zeitgeist?

    what's wrong with it?

  • @russaac I don't care about religion, but I do care about Jesus Christ! and I like what this song stands for...Peace, Hope and Peace brought to this world, but people don't want it!

  • @KeyboardPacifist

you're such a moron...anyone ever tell you that before?

  • @MLLorre1 Ah. Another self-centered epicurean, with an ego inflated 10 times its actual intellect. You can leave our earth anytime you want, feel free to do so. I suppose you feel quite safe and brave typing lil statements like that from the refuge of anonymity.

  • @KeyboardPacifist You gotta get real man, if there is one thing Abrahamic religion HAS given us that isn't horrifying it's the music.

  • @Jaredinator ya.... no. Yahshua hMosciah isn't a religion from Abraham. It's a religion given to Abraham. Sorry that this hasn't penetrated your agnostic worldview. Now go back and look at what your ancestors did for the sake of economics - and then think twice before smugly judging another culture and religion.

  • i bet the long-haired one will look macho hot if he cuts his hair

  • So far, this is my favorite version on the web. To me, it seems the are downplaying themselves, and putting all the reverance into the words of the meaningful song.

This is absolutely beautiful, and extremely respectful of "Oh Holy Night"

Thanks, and the Best to all who enter here, in '09! God Bless.

  • Thank you guys! Makes my Christmas!

  • They sound okay. But they can do without all the weird facial expressions. Looks like they just took a hit of Acid or somethin'

  • ForeverAnalog, ya' DO have to move your mouth when you sing. For the long vowels, like a, e, i, o, and u, you really have to form your mouth correctly for sounds and tones. Come on. Didn't your mom ever tell you "If you can't say something NICE about someone, don't say anything at all?" Words don't die in the air, but carry into the Universe, the SOUNDS keep traveling out there, and will return to you in the same form you sent them.

You'll learn more about music, and understand.

  • blueskiesblue;

that is the most the most concise explanation of karma I have ever heard!

  • SO BEAURIFUL God Bless our world and have mercy in all of us...
