For other guys who asked, that is a '90 Fender American Deluxe Strat with a '57 reissue maple neck and at that time I was using just the Strat plugged to a Mac and GarageBand software. The sound went out from my stereo home system.

You are damn right about Rick. I miss the feeling to believe that one day I could have seen a magic reunion. So sad...

Thanks Moriarty for the feeling you got listening to my for sure not perfect solo. I love that band and I'll always do. You were gifted to be able to be a PF fun in the '70s. I was born in '72 just when they had given birth to that masterpiece I was trying to play but I was lucky enough to be 3 times in my life part of the audience on their last Italian gigs.

I saw Aussie PF last March live in Mantova and I was litteraly astonished for the good job they did. They are really great.

I dont care what anyone else says on this site, you really ARE good! I have been a Floyd fan for as long as I dare to care to remember...certainly since about '70. I have seen them many times and I love to see others play there stuff well..checkout:australian pinkfloyd for one and the darkside for another. They all play their interpretations of the song as do the floyd!

how many frets does that guitar have because your not going up high enough on the fret board? you should look up the right way to play the solo.

It's a Strat, it has 21. The Album version is played on a 24 fret Lewis guitar to hit those notes on the third part. But even Gilmour doesn't bother with that when playing it live.

well, in the studio version of money, david use the bill lewis' guitar (the guitar have 24 frets), not the strat

gilmour invented that riff, which means he knew about composition and a lot of scales, if someone can plays the solo doesn't means he's as good as him!

I'm not saying Matboss is a bad guitarist, I think his playing is fantastic, but compare someone with Gilmour....

Good attempt but in the 3rd section of the solo it is imperative you hit the high D on the first string, bedinging it a whole step with vibrato or eles the solo lacks a climax.

That's my "Blackie". It's a '91 American Deluxe Strat with a '57 reissue maple neck. I bought the guitar in 1991 in a guitar shop in Milano. Originally it came with a maple neck with a rosewood fret. I bought the maple neck few months ago because I think it's more comfy to play and much cooler as well.

Actually I have Fender Lace Sensors installed and yes, I do use GarageBand for recording sessions and sounds.
