It is a prison! Not a holiday resort! What do you want the inmates to do, have a cream tea and scone session with the screws. It is a lot worse in real prisons i have read about. lol
I know that the way Vera treats the inmates is harsh leaves much to be desired, however, doing what they just did to someone is just as bad.
Though I have a feeling Vera is use to having to repeat back what an individual is forcing them to say. I imagine a large amount of her child hood was like that.
That lady must have dragon breath! Did you see the face Erica made. I don't like the scene where Bea is grabbing Vera by the mouth. My father did that to me and almost broke my jaw one day.
