Amazing guitar.... I'm also amazed at the negative comments too. But I've said for ages that guitarists, for the most part, are the most "ultra-conservative" lot I've ever met. I think this guitar looks comfortable enough. I wanna know where the hell they place the strap though. Aside from that, I like the unique and compact design. The three buttons are a bit too outlandish but I am sure Tom Morello would get a kick out of the thing. Every guitar has strengths and weaknesses. Even Les Pauls have drawbacks. I am just surprised at how many negative reactions there were to this particular video. I agree that the price is waaaaaaay too steep though.

The tesla is actually one of the best sounding electric guitars out there. Look at the the list of Teuffel's clients: Kirk Hammett, Billy Gibbons, David Torn to name just a few. I'm fed with people who don't know what they are talking about - play one - then judge.

@Go4Gear Yes, it sounds and plays incredibly. Indeed it should. It costs $10,000. I believe that is the problem most players have with instruments of this caliber. Is there a market for his guitars? Yes. You named some of the millionaires who can drop 10K on one guitar, note that they're using a guitar to make their living.

However, for those of us with families and mortgages who have to save for a year to spend $1K, a $10K axe, regardless of it's tone, is a joke worthy of rebuke.
