  • Sooo Victorian :-)

    Love it !!!!!!!

  • Remember your comment about how your hands seem to remember but your brain doesn't? I know exactly what you mean! lol I play the piano all the time and when that same thing happens when you play the piano it is called finger memorization. :) I bet your hands are doing the same thing lol. Sometimes I won't be paying attention and my hands will know what to do, that is until I come back to reality and have no idea where I am on the sheet music LOL :) Love your vids keep up the good work!

  • @hoffmanhorseshoe Yeah, I have found that with my drumming, too. The band will start a song we haven't played in awhile and while my brain is all, "Huh, how in the heck did I play this?" my arms and legs are already doing their thing. LOL. It's seriously cool and only slightly alarming. :o)

  • Very pretty! :D The green compliments your hair beautifully. :) & I understand about the muscle memory thing. I play the piano, but I can't read music, so every song that I learn is pretty much recorded in my brain and then saved for later. However, I play a lot, and I try to figure out more songs than my brain can handle. =/ Just recently I was trying to remember how to play 'Perfect Timing' by Orba Squara and I thought, "How did I do this? D;" Fortunately, my hands remembered for me. xD

  • I'm a big fan I love your hair soo much I'm trying to grow my haircut still only just past my soldier lol love your vids I'm thirteen can wait to try these stupid hair is a slow grow thanks for the great vids :)

  • For some reason this tutorial really made me think "oh man, if only I could try a thicker hair on for just one day! Just one tiny day of iii hair!". I am sitting very solidly in ii which I know is not bad for baby fine hair but still... Just one day xD

  • Love this! :)

  • Im an old soul and this is just scrreaming hail mary to me :) thank you so much for the video!!

  • Wearing green really makes your hair look golden :)

  • Closing my eyes helps me too lol

  • i really like it! all your styles actually, but this is top 10!! :)

  • This is art! Seriously!

  • sorry, i know you said it but what the exact name of this little pink needle?

I'm not good in understanding fast spoken english :-/

  • @schmetterlinchen it's made by the brand 'scunci'. you can probably find it in most convenient stores

  • @schmetterlinchen

    It's a knitting needle

  • ooo i love the victorian hair stileees ¡ ¡ ¡torrin...thanks

  • The braid was dead simple, yay. Now I know another four stranded braid. Thanks Torrin.

  • i <3 how you are relaxed about becoming old :D I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for making such inspiring videos that make me love my long hair and thank you for all of the inspiring and creative videos. You are so fun and entertaining to watch and learn from. Thanks also for telling me about the LHC.

  • @astrasoul7 Hey, we all get old eventually - there's nothing you can do to stop it, so you might as well enjoy it, right? I have learned from my Gram & Pap that once you reach a certain age, you can pretty much say and do whatever you want...people let you get away with almost anything. Sometimes, I can't wait. :o)

  • @torrinpaige Hey! It's funny because my grandma says just the same! :)

  • You did cute polish nails? :D

Sooo cute.. She got such slack for that tutorial! :(

  • @namratazk I totally did cutepolish nails! I rather liked the tie dye. Granted, my hubby thought they were some sort of squished spider - but the teenagers in my neighborhood thought they were pretty bad ass. I never understand why people feel the need to tear someone down - especially someone who provides a free service that you don't have to pay for. You don't like it? Don't do it then! Why be so negative about it? Some people are just mannerless.

  • I don't even have long hair anymore. I just love listening to you.

  • Gorgeous. I love it!

  • Very clever and pretty : )

  • I was gonna say this in your contest vid, but girl, green is your color!!! You look amazing in it. But you know what, I wanna see you in purple, cuz I think it would look fantastic as well! What is your favorite color??

  • @Moonlightlove31 Turquoise is my favorite color, with pink coming in second. I will probably be wearing more green, as my old man really liked it too and even told me I looked really pretty. (That' something after having been married for almost 14 years...lol.) I have 3 purple shirts I think...I should probably get more. I can do jewel tones okay...I just wish I could rock yellow & orange. Alas, my skin tone is totally wrong for those colors. :o(

  • Cool!!!!! :)

  • the "steampunk" like-able thing on fb linked to this video, and said all your stuff is awesome!

  • @archionblu Really? Dang! I am so flattered.

  • Cutepolish tiedyenails? :D

  • @PikoPikoNoriko Yup! Wow, you gals have good eyes!

  • Damn my fine hair! I would love to do this but it would look silly and too thin. I have lots of hair it's just baby fine...

  • THANK YOU!! I can't wait to do this, in particular because I have an aunt who is just fascinated by any kind of hair taping-esque updo. I'm going to do it for her, because I know she will just love it. I think it''s really pretty and interesting. I will try to do a video of my results for you so you can see :-)

  • @eezepeeze Oooh, yes please! I was more than happy to do it for you. IS it wrong that I'm excited that your aunt will be excited? I am such a hair dork. :o)

  • You make this look so easy!

  • Lol. I just call that kind of needle a yarn needle. To me, knitting needles are an entirely different sort of thing.

  • this is really cute! :)

  • Do you have any tips for pinning thick hair up? Whenever I try to pin up my hair (it's thick and curly), it tends to fall out.

  • @waterlily716 I think you have to find the right pins. Regular bobby pins laugh at my hair for certain up-do's. Amish hair pins are pretty sturdy as are Spin Pins. Good Hair Days makes something called Magic Grips that works pretty well, too. There are also ways of using the little jaw clips that you can secure with, and then wrap a small bit of hair around to hide & pin that small section. Those give good stability, too.

  • @torrinpaige Thank you!! :) I have used the spin pins and they work sooo well for buns, but not so well for smaller stuff. I will check out the other pins you talked about, and the jaw clip tip. That sounds cool.

  • Sometimes people who don't knit get so confused by the phrase "knitting needle." LOL :)

  • Cool hairstyle!!

  • yay! another Victorian one!
