if docomo, softbank, au ect would bring their phones to america, i would throw out my "new" phone in a heart beat and buy one of theirs. they're so much more technologically advanced than american ones and they look way more awesome! us phones suck no matter how new they are, because they're still behind japan's phones.

It would be a great idea if someone offered to bring some of that over to the US and other parts of the world. I think AU,DOCOMO,SOFTBANK, and E-mobile would greatly profit from it. And everybody would be updated to new inovations of Japan. All, that would be needed is a program that would block those that might want to copy the tectnology and they be all set.

The only good mobile UK Mobile and US mobile is the iPhone, SE 8GB walkaman with 3.2 camera and the 5meg K850i. You may disagree but with features it's light years behind the Japanese versions.

For an example, the infobar being the only ultra thin phone from a different country able to portray more features than the extremely powerful, (maybe too powerful, stupid Swedish guys), SE W960i.

Japan's cell phones are light years ahead of the US's. Most of their consumer electronics are for that matter; probably about 3 years ahead.

I have lived in Japan now for almost three years and I have to say I disagree strongly with the statement that the US is three years behind. In terms of electronics, Windows is developed in the US, Apple and the iPhone are from the US.

iPhone is really pretty much overhyped, and this is coming from an avid apple fan. Japanese phones have raelly great features, 1Seg, Felica, iMode, etc.

Well, yeah, iPhone is cool but the phones in Japan are much better. The iPhone was over hyped. I mean, it really doesn't have much besides music and internet. So I agree with kaleb0 , and reevsaj. And Japan is like three years ahead of the U.S. in electronics. So who cares; Windows is made in the U.S. with Japanese and other Asian employees. So, yes, the Japanese phones are better!
