Another song I really like is "Praise You in this Storm" by Casting Crowns. Sometimes its a beautiful thing to go through tough times. Maybe someone has caused you pain and maybe God is just letting us know that we have caused others pain in this life and how that feels. Let's not cause any pain to our brothers and sisters in Christ our kids our family members our friends and even our enemies. The pain I have been going through lately has brought me closer to God. When the rain comes it seems everyone has gone away....so true. I was just diagnosed with a seizure disorder and now no one except for my mom,brother, and fiance, wants to deal with me. It's as if everyone is afraid of me, when all they have to do is take away the triggers (vinegar) and they refuse to. The rain came and the people that said they loved me got washed away with it. :'(

This song is amazing. It tells so much truth! Most people blame the wrong in life on our God in their pain, But the truth is, He is with us! He feels the same pain we do! In that I will praise his name, EVEN "When The Rain Comes"!! :)

@JDog39617 We I think the song means that God can stop things from happening in your life... Things bad will happen to everyone but if you hold on to the Lord he will how on you. There in our live bad things might happen to the most noble people and we something as "God why did you do this to me" but it's not that way it part of life of those things to happen but he will always be by our side when ever they do.

@solitarypillar I like to think of this about a guy comforting another guy as he's going through a hardship. Christianity is a pretty wacky belief, but it produces awesome music :) They're the only genuine people in the music industry, I will give them that.

My wife left me 4 months ago with our two young children. She told me yesterday that she never intends to come back, and that nothing and nobody can change her mind. My heart is broken and my soul is crushed, next month would have been our 9 year anniversary. @meldrew78 I know your pain. My husband left me and my 3 children (and God) just over a year ago. I am praying for you and your family and for the many others who are going through the same thing. Keep your eyes on the Lord and the strength you need will come through Him along with that peace which surpasses all understanding, and in times of weakness lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ, letting them know your needs. Do not try to go through this all on your own, that is when we fall.
