  • TELL ME IF ANY MOVIE IS BETTER THEN THIS WAS..PLS >>I M SERIOUS?

  • Whats the musical piece?

  • RIP Spc. James Cavaco

  • Hoot is a fucking badass !

  • Probably the best movie I've ever seen, along with Saving Private Ryan, Tears of the Sun, 300 and LOTR..

  • @SweDishEliites Add Act of Valor to that list

  • @TexasWhitetails1 yes!! My favorite movie!!!

  • fire fire fire bitsches ^^

  • Excuse me fellow Black Hawk Down lovers, would you please tell me the name of the melody played in this scene?

I would thank you a lot!

  • @oxidacionX leave no man behind

  • @oxidacionX It's Leave No Man Behind. You can get the soundtrack from iTunes. Today in the gym, I replayed three songs the two hours I was there...Leave No Man Behind, Gortoz a Ran and Minstrel Boy. Damn those songs get me focused!

  • @TheGTIJuggalo Thank you!

And I know what you mean, somehow this songs manage to put you in an inspiration and motivation mood.

  • "It's mine!" *starts chopping shit up*. Definitely a high point.

  • I don't think that is the best scene. The best one is this part, when this one guy shot the other one.

  • @Hermann2711 .......... WHICH ONE

  • gotta love the military. D-boys in this case

  • shooting niggas with a .50 cal machine gun....

  • this whole movie was like a video game. i mean, in a good way. it was riveting, i had to watch several times to catch everything.

  • @phantomwaltz I still haven't caught everything after so many times of watching it

  • As a Marine and combat vet. I love the comments! Most of you guys really know your shit!

  • @markobyrne1 I really hope your not saying this just to act cool. But if its true. Thank you for serving in the war and fighitng for our Country.

  • I find the debates and arguments on these vids gunny

  • how can dislike this? 6 somalian! kill 'em

  • @Petendria93 Probably 6 Somalian widows.

  • THAT WOULD BE FUN! BLOWING AWAY THE NIGGS!

  • @dixxjamm

but again, you are correct, planting ourselves in every single nation is not necessary. but in the nations which we are neutral with or even enemies with, we should be cautious of their growing strength and keep our eyes on them, even if that means creating bases in their lands. its smarter than waiting to be attacked and then respond after it's too late.

  • @dixxjamm

and I believe we did the right thing by going in and kicking him out, my father was sent to Iraq twice and Africa once for the Marine Corps, so I know the effects of a family member over seas, and the worry that we have for our loved ones. I agree with you that trying to establish bases throughout the world is unnecessary, we have the oceans protecting us, but the "preemptive strikes" are typically in nations that might soon pose a threat to us, and it is for security purposes

  • @dixxjamm

I would agree with you, our foreign policy is a bit out of wack now, I dont see the point of us staying in Afghanistan for as long as we did, with Iraq at least we had some grounds for trying to seed a democracy or some sort of non-tyrannical regime there, but in Afghanistan there is just nothing to start a form of stable government with. A lot of people give Bush shit for moving into Iraq, but what he did was right, Saddam Hussein was a tyrant who killed thousands of his own people

  • anyone hates on this and i say this if you dont think the guy did a good job then MAKE YOU'RE OWN DONT HATE ON PEOPLES WORK god it gets very anoying

  • alguem sabe que musica de fundo é essa que esta tocando, me ajudem.........

Anyone know what this is background music that is playing, help me .....

    .

  • @014563247 its by hans zimmer leave no man behind

  • @dixxjamm

prick, and show some respect for the brave men and women who have more courage and bravery than you could ever dream of. sure we have our faults, but every country does, at least our political leaders arent launching mustard gas into the civilians of the land, and dont tell me to learn from my own history and act like you know more about my country than I do you fuck

  • @Shwayzebananas Are you listening ? I have nothing against your soldiers, they are taking orders and putting their life on the line, I respect that. The same goes for your adversaries. You seem to be forgetting that there is a whole other part of the world that has nothing to do with your war in the Middle East, but if this shit goes on, that other part of the world will be affected too.You really expect the whole world to go to war over your motives? Name one good reason why it should...

  • @dixxjamm

of the Iraqi people, France wouldnt even bother to help us because they're afraid to get their hands dirty, the cost of war is the highest cost of all because it involves the loss of human life, had we not engaged in the Iraqi war after an attack on our own soil we might well be a muslim country (impossible but you get the picture) we showed that the cowardice enemy who strikes without a face cant fuck with us and get away, so stop talking shit about my beautiful country you ignorant

  • @Shwayzebananas ...so what's the point of you establishing bases around the world? I really wish that Western civilization is preserved, and you guys are doing your part, but you're overdoing it lately and by your clumsiness you're creating an opposite effect.

  • @dixxjamm the Brits fought against us because we broke away from the tyranny of King George and they say this as treason, they were fighting to regain their colony and the land that would eventually become America.we arnt a blood thirsty killing machine as you appear to think we are. I do not mean to say every war we have been involved in is justified, war should be avoided as often as possible, but it is inevitable, at least we are fighting for something good (with the Iraq war) the liberation

  • @Shwayzebananas You didn't get my point. Regardless of motive (freedom, religion, whatever),you can't call fighting thousands of miles away from your borders as a liberation war or preserving your way of life. That pre-emptive strike term that you use all the time is like me coming to your door and kicking you in the face because some American punched me while he was on vacation in my country,it's bullshit. You've got the biggest Navy and Airforce in the world and you got 2 oceans around you...

  • @dizzjamm Iraq?? really? you think that was uncalled for? they hijacked our airplanes and flew them into the twin towers, the Iraq war was a retaliation to their attack on us and the subsequent fight for freedom of the suppressed Iraqi people, sure the other ones involve political relationships with other countries that were being attacked by foreign countries and we stepped in to help. you make us out to be a war hungry nation that will use any chance we can to go to war.

  • @Shwayzebananas 1.There were no Iraqis involved in 9/11,most of them were Saudis.2.There are lots of supressed peoples around the world, you seem to pick those countries where you also have other interests.3.i didn't say you are a war hungry nation, but your foreign policy certainly fits that description.

  • @comerbran That actually didnt happen in the real battle. Dom Pilla wasn't on the .50 he was a M60 gunner and he wasn't hit in the throat he was hit in the head...unless of course you are talking about Eric Bana the actor in that case yes he is cool

  • Don't mess with Hector. Piss him off then he will turn into the Hulk.

  • hahaha

  • @comerbran wth he was shown at the end of the movie

  • lol at all the ameritards getting upset in the comments when they get told that they aernt the shining light of freedom that their media portrays and are infact a bunch of militaristic tyrants.

now for something we can all agree with, Black Hawk Down was an awesome action movie regardless of politics

  • i'd stay the inside that humvee

thin line between bravery and stupidity

  • @nikolasmaes99

Courage is being afraid and going anyway.

  • he just fucked shit UP!

  • @comerbran He knows William Fichtner :O

  • hoot goes beserk dude

  • @tokyoking2

Yeah George Bush jr. also believed that there was chemical weapon in Iraq...

And that ibn Laden is in Afghanistan...

  • @Cealh Its Bin Laden ibn Laden

  • @Coruscant98 uh oh! the piece of euro trash called it 'racist'! everyone, complain to youtube, because Science H. Logic, that word scares the hell out of us! go suck some muzzie cock coruscant.

  • @Coruscant98 Fuck you.

  • @Cheburashka207 Why? because the truth hurts? piss off will you.

  • @Coruscant98 This movie was fucking amazing. Who cares, they deserved it.

  • @Coruscant98 You do relize most of the enemy that we faught during that operation were just armed civilians don't you?

  • Why wasn't the delta guy on the machine gun to begin with?

  • @butterflyheadlights at least the delta guy didnt die, be thankful for that. if he was on at the beginning, he would have died.

  • @josepablolanos

you're right, men putting their lives on the lines for people they dont even know is useless and all for show now. maybe you could show a little decency and respect for the brave men and women who selflessly put their lives at risk day in and day out so that others can live safely. the soldiers were booed coming back from vietnam, now after you get sent over to war, witness hell and your friends brutal death and the public boos you when you come back? unbelievable ungratefulness.

  • @Shwayzebananas 1.Korea,Vietnam,Iraq,Somalia,Afganistan and othe smaller one:none of these countries actually threatened American lives on American soil, you're so full of shit with your "others can live safely" crap. That being said,I do agree that it's not the soldiers on either side to be blamed. However, the role of the millitary should be better defined in the US,you're constantly fighting thousands of miles away from your borders, just like the Brits with their colonial empire

  • @Shwayzebananas 2....that Americans themselves fought in 1776...why don't you try to learn from your own history?I am personally fond of American culture and Americans,it would be a shame to see you guys become the object of hatred for decades to come, just because of the lunacy that is your foreign policy. So YES,honor the soldiers, but question the war.Especially the whole Israel matter,if WW3 will spawn from there, you're gonna get the blame for that. And for what?

  • @comerbran

    Your dad knows Eric Bana?

  • YA thats the best scene, when he says, GET ON THAT 50!!! SOMBODY GET ON THAT 50!!!!! ufff, shit ya love it

  • @comerbran that character didnt really exist

  • Roger that ... Sir

  • one of the best movie's ever. it also helps us remember those lost espiccialy the rescue squad at the downed birds that took courage and guts and they had both every one on this day october 23rd 1993 had both.

  • @comerbran dude no way my dad met hoot too

  • @comerbran "Hoot" is a fictionalized character that is a combination of possibly 3 soldiers from that event. If you are referring to the actor then never mind.

  • @manwithplan61 norman "Hoot" Hooten was a real man who fought in mogadishu. he commanded a squad of delta force soldiers. but the was never part of this 3 vehicle "lost" convoy. after securing the prisoners. he and many of the other delta force soldiers went to the first crash site, where he remained until extraction. and if you dont believe me read the book

  • @JRScott121 I am actually starting to read the book. I knew there was a man named hoot but im saying the character in the movie is a combination of hoot and two other gentlemen. Thats what ive read at least.

  • @manwithplan61 Roger That........SFC Norm "Hoot" Gibson (based on SFC John Macejunas, SFC Norm Hooten & SFC Matthew Rierson)

  • @manwithplan61 the book is probably one of my favorite books

  • @manwithplan61 i have read the book, no deta force were actually in that humvee squadron.

the movie captures the essence of the fight, although i found positions easier to follow in the book since it actually provides maps of the area

  • @manwithplan61 I didn't really like the book... I enjoyed the movie alot more!

  • @ArianaNToronto Well the book is very hard for me to keep reading (im still reading it even from my first comment on this video) but i find it funny and very interesting since it also takes the perspective of somalis as well as rangers. Overall i think they are both great works of art.

  • @manwithplan61 Whats the book called? I want to buy it too

  • I like the soundtrack music ... what's the name of this soundtrack music ?

any body know ? tell me

  • @abdanskynet hes down and cover fire or something like that, just search black hawk donw sound track and its like 8 or 9 down

  • @comerbran the actually guy?

  • I like this background music: leave no men behind!

  • it seems we have a professional badass over here

  • If you want something done right, call in an AC-130.

  • @Terwilliger014 the desk jockeys in washington were providing them with ac-130 air cover until it took 3 months to find the guy and the general even reqested apc's and ac-130 air support but the beura-craps in washington said "no it's too high profile" and look at what happened,we lost 2 dozen men.

  • @comerbran Nor am I ?

  • @comerbran hmm only took you 11 hours. Google?

  • Eric Bana is such a badass

  • @comerbran I hihgly doubt that since you ca even name him.

  • I like how "someone get on that .50" led to the knucklehead in the back just sitting there thinking "not me, not me." Rgr Regt are just a bunch of glorified 11Bs with pretty gear. If you absolutely want something killed overnight, call the Rakkasans.

  • @07beyotch - YES! my brother was in the 187th some badass mother fuckers i tell you... RAKKASANS LEAD THE WAY... im signign up with an 11x MOS with a ranger contract

  • SOMEONE GET ON THAT 50

  • @singaporeshithead well in the movie, the rangers and delta are two highly trained special force groups that are amazing shots using m16 variants(very accurate weapons) and then you have guys off the street that have no training shooting at them with AKs( a horrible inaccurate weapon)

  • Now THAT is a true soldier.

  • That's right you kill one American we will kill 50 of yours

  • US. Military RAPES ALL

  • @Trenchman97 Yeah... all the prisoners they possibly can. And that´s about it. Anyway, with all the stealth and high tech toys you guys invest all your money on, the foot soldier is there just for show now. Just another psychiatric case waiting to make it home. US military no longer impresses me the way it seems to impress you. This "USA rules" bullshit is getting old reeeeal fast!

  • @josepablobolanos You should read more. Great generals like Robert E. Lee, Rommel, and Patton said there would always be a need for boots on the soil.

  • SEALs are best special operations

  • @Froggman162 how bout Marine Force Recon or MARSOC

  • hoot (eric bana) the best character in the movie he should been the main character cause he is like it when you watch the movie you will see how much he sacrifices his life just to do the job :)

  • nobody does what delta does better than delta. delta is only open to rangers and green berets who are handpicked by delta force, and 90% of them drop out. delta truely is the best of the best, and the only reason i give kudos to israel is because some how depsite insurmountable odds they always come out on top. you guys can say whatever you want, but the SAS is not as good or close to being delta.

  • you know i did say i wasnt going to comment anymore but fuck it. i say what i want. delta may have been formed on the same template as the SAS but they are a much better special forces unit. they invented and revamped 90 percent of the tactics used today to take over buses, planes, ships, and buildings. part of their training is evading the fbi far a certain period of time. the use more ammo in training than the entire marine corpse. the SAS use tactics delta invented.

  • @ChiefBanj0 SAS not at least equal to the deltas? They inspired a large number of the world special forces

  • @singaporeshithead i was going to insult you, but then i read your youtube account name and realized i didnt need to.

  • this film has the pro-American touch all over it with proud, brave and heroic US soldiers doing the job they were ordered to do. It shows the power and effectiveness of the US allowing the viewer to feel for each character. One American soldier dies and it really is sad and touching, but what about these thousands of expressionless Somali men, women and children who are 'swatted' like flies defending their land/people...American colonialism and imperialism propaganda bull sh*t is all I see...

  • @pimplouis everybody has propaganda

  • @pimplouis

    Lmfao.

Imperialism and colonialism..riiiiiiiiiiiiight. I find it hard to express how tragically pathetic but humorous about how much your post reeks with conspiracy nut-cracker, whack job, and intoxicating moronic intellect.

Most of the Somalians welcomed the Americans and for their support in trying to re-stabilize the region. The Americans went in to catch the warlord Adid, who was cutting off U.N. supply shipments from the population to feed his own soldiers.

  • @pimplouis

However, some of the Somalians were subject to propaganda from Adid and were lead to believe the Americans weren't welcome there, and they weren't trying to help. Of course, America is always being blamed for something, but they do as much good as they do just short of good.

It's simple logic to understand the situation that developed overtime there. Perhaps you should read a book instead of listening to that nut-job Alex Jones. All these conspiracies, and most of them reek of lies.

  • gloves, no gloves, gloves

  • @ChiefBanj0 finally some one who knows at school we argue about it and stuff

  • MY favorite scene is definitely the sniper scene where they try to defend the black hawk.

  • What was the song in the background?

  • i think from now on i will no longer engage in these military pissing contests. its a waste of time, and breath. the pro's dont do it, and since im getting ready to enlist, i might as well stop now. its funny how the only people who really give a fuck are teenagers, who dont actually serve their country, while the silent professionals laugh shake their heads, and kick ass as a team their only objective to finish the mission. rock on you Patriots, and men of valor

  • @woo1693 Yeah, I enjoyed it nonetheless.

  • @tokyoking2 im not even trying to insult you, and i thought we were talking about counter terrorism. i have alot of respect for our allied spec ops, regardless, however israel is in a constant state of war, with terrorists constantly infiltrating and threatening the populace, and it is because of this that they have the BEST counter terrorism unit in the world. and everyone cross trains. SAS comes over here, we go over there, we both go to israel and vice versa. without eachother we are nothing

  • @ChiefBanj0

The point is, the SAS has a longer history and easily on par with israeli counter terrorism units. They deal with counter terrorism, like the Iranian Embassy seige. Many special forces have got there inspiration from the SAS such as Delta Force. Even Israels special forces, Sayeret Matkal, was modelled on the SAS. Thier motto is the same as the SAS; "Who Dares Wins".

Both are great, but be careful when stating one is better then the other.

  • @ChiefBanj0 ill say what i want, and although you think the SAS is the top dog, i beg to differ, but im not going to keep arguing about it because the opinion of two inexperienced civilians doesnt mean shit

  • @ChiefBanj0 what if they're educated?

  • @ChiefBanj0

I never said the sas is top dog, but show some respect and learn some history before you claim the sas doesn't rival Israel. If you really believe israel has the best SF forces in the world, then fine its your choice.

  • The awkward moment when i die before i can find one military linked video without people moaning about which special forces is the best.

  • why the fuck is this the best scene? it (quite graphically) shows the death of pilla and many somalians or 'skinnies' as they used to call them, hard to see how someone being shot dead and reported as KIA is the 'best scene'

  • @tokyoking2 the sas is one of the top spec opps forces in the world

  • @ChiefBanj0 the sas is the best counter terrorism unit in the world, get some respect

  • @LIGHTNINGLEVIS 10 years ago the sas was the best. when seal team six killed bin laden the US became the best. Remember bin laden spent all of the 1980s without getting killed by by russian spetznaz. he lived throught the 90's under significant threat from russia, the US, Libya, Iran, UK, ect. seal team 6 sent him to his 72 slut whores in hell. get some respect

  • @LIGHTNINGLEVIS the SAS is good for sure, but nobody rivals the israeli counter terrorism units.

  • dominic pilla is the 1 ° kia in mogadishu this is true

  • i hate when ppl think the only special forces teams in the u.s military are the NAVY SEALS there is hundreds more special forces unit in the military

  • if you want to know what its like to be in the army.watch black hawk down

  • OMG When the guy at 03-05 says "the plays is fucked up" Sounds so fake!!

  • @mastergulled1 i think he says "Christ he's fucked up"

  • @mastergulled1 i think he says "Christ he's fucked up"

  • Someone get on that 50! It's mine!

  • @Ryutaken its a movie

  • @Ryutaken possibly another POV from another gunner

  • @Ryutaken its was the other guy on the front hummer u fucking annoying ass cridict

  • This is the Gladiator of modern warfare... gtta love Ridley... makes the SF looks so badass ahaha

  • @Ryutaken maybe he thought he was better off without em :P

  • @ChiefBanj0

    LOL. OK, whatever.

  • @josepablobolanos sorry i have an abrasive manner. i meant no offense. i simply wished to clarify. im a huge history buff and military science student and it goes to my head

  • @ChiefBanj0

It's OK. No offense taken. I appreciate your input but, as a psychologist, I still believe this is too... Hollywood.

  • Comment removed

  • @ChiefBanj0 Well said.

  • Well said.

  • RIP Dom Pilla RLTW

  • Maybe so... I didn't know. But this scene? Typical action flick! Guy, shook up as hell, valiantly gets on a .50 caliber machine gun mounted on a fast moving hummer and manages to blow away 2,000 irakis. And you all think that's the way it really happened............................

  • @josepablobolanos I only counted 6 other people the gunner managed to shoot, and I'm not even sure about the two that were leaning out of windows.

While it may be "Hollywood", something like this can definitely happen. Yes, the .50 cal gunner is terribly exposed, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's going to die when he mans the machine gun.

  • @josepablobolanos you sir, are an idiot

  • @asmovftw

LOL. By the way, Rambo wasn't real either... and you guys lost the Vietnam War. Sorry to break it to you.

  • @josepablobolanos 58,220 US KIA vs 1,176,000 NV KIA, I think we now know who won.

  • @josepablobolanos the US navy now runs training exercises with the vietnamese navy. They invited us back. lol vietnam was a small part of the larger cold war witch the US won. Long live free markets. lol

  • @mizzoulibertarian Water under the bridge, I guess...

  • @josepablobolanos in fairness you are probably right about it being made up, the character who jumped on the 50.cal didnt really exist but i in reality that guy did die that way, and i'm pretty sure its a massive possibility someone would have to jump on the 50.cal, and i'd imagine that a delta would be pretty accurate. spelt iraqis wrong btw mate, and their somalians not iraqis.

  • These action flicks are all the same...

  • @josepablobolanos you do realize that all this really happend and it was made into a book which this movie was based on

  • My respect to this man, HOOT really have GUTS, I really LOVE this Scene, It´s my favourite, it´s awesome.

  • 0331 thats the job i have Hoo-Rah!

  • best scene? lol

  • Can anybody tell me what is the difference on a tracer round and a ball round?

  • @Kriegerdammerung im no soldier but tracers are like rougnds that sorta glow you may say like a little firy burst behind it and ball rounds i think are the more heavier bone crushing rounds

  • @Kriegerdammerung Tracers are rounds that have been chemically treated to glow when they are fired. They are often used at night so soldiers can track where their rounds are going and thus adjust their aim. A ball round, more often referred to as a FMJ (full metal jacket) round, is your normal military round that has been covered in metal--thus, "full metal" jacket.

  • this scene gives me chills everytime

  • don't fuck with CHOPPER

  • How come the 50 dont come with any protection at all like armor plating?

  • @Reconseal4050 bcuz the mission was only 30 min so they did not think they need armor on the HMMWV (i think)

  • I think it'd take more balls to be in the lost convoy imo. But still mad props
