I bought this game on steam, and it said that when the game asks for it, i have to type in a code. I finished the game, but it hasn't asked for the code. wtf do i do? i wanna play the DLC's!

i have a question, i already have fallout 3(PS3) and i know i want every DLC for the game, but im not sure if the save will carry over from the regular game to the GOTY edition. Keep in mind I already have the pitt and broken steel. So should i try to find it cheap, like 20 bucks, or should i buy the last 3 individually, 30 bucks?any advice would be great.

Although Fallout: new vegas had more to offer in terms of things to do (more skills, higher level cap, quests things to collect ect...) Fallout 3 was a far superior game in my mind. The story was alot more interesting. I actually cared for the characters. Other than the fact that the only dlc that raises your level cap is broken steel, they where alot better.

nice review man... because of YOU... im encouraged to buy goty edition... i was debating elder scolls 4: oblivion goty with this but ughh... idk... im all late with games bro. college is gunna get in the way. but what would you highly recomend?? yo anybody who want Deus Ex... ok i say u borrow that game from a frend or something.. its gameplay is sik but the story will have u skipping conversations. it is BORING. it might be ok for summa u but da story wont get any higher. rental..

@BlestTheJediThug Oblivion is also a good game, I'm just not a big fantasy guy. I definitely prefer Fallout. And I'm actually playing through Deus Ex right now, glad I rented it.

If it's game of the year edition, DLC is already installed and accessible as soon as you leave the tutorial level (the vault)

It will be missions given without an actual reason

@maniacboyz7 Just check you're quests on your pip boy. you should have the 4 quests right as soon as you leave the vault. if you dont know the quest names just google them

i think it would be cool if you could have kids with the people you sleep with and have them to fallow you and sell them as sex slave's or have them to help you fight of bad people.

PLEASE HELP! Can someone tell me if u have the GOTY edition, can u play all add-ons at once, or do u have to choose a single add on, and then another and then another?

You can play them in any order you want, but if I recall you have to play Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, and Mothership Zeta all the way through in one go. In Broken Steel and Point Lookout, you can stop the quest line and go do something else. Hope that answers your question.

@NumberOneGamer2011 1.it doesn't come with 5 DLC packs 2. it was not made entirely by the makers of fallout 3 and 3. it plays more similar to fallout 1 and 2 it's not very fair judgement

I just realized as of today that I can play any of the expansions anytime I want. I still haven't played Mothership Zeta or Broken Steel.

Mothership Zeta is kinda hard, I'd save it until your a pretty high level at least about 20. And Broken Steel is just a continuation of the main story, so whenever you feel like it.

If you have Fallout 3 GOTY edition for xbox 360 do you have to install the DLC(point lookout,ect) on xbox live to get the achievements or do the DLC and the achievements install as soon as you play the GOTY edition?

The expansions come on a second disc that you must install to the hard drive in order to play. No Xbox Live required.

So my friend has the GOTY edition, if i borrowed it from him, could i continue playing on my previous characters in the GOTY edition? Thanks

The DLC's come on a second disc that can be used multiple times. So just borrow that from him, download them, and you're set.

i just got fallout 3 game of the year edition for xbox 360 . The main game has been working fine but when i installed the dlcs i cant play it. i know i need to insert disk 1 to play but i cant! shouldnt there be a dlc option on the main menu? i bought it used from gamestop, plz help!

Well, you should find the DLC's as quests in your Pip Boy. Search through there, and you should be able to find them.

i have the 360 version of this n' i have a problem with the project purity lvl with the guys dad the doors on there won't load n' just hang but the rest of the game and everywere else works just fine it's just that one place any clue to whats up with that ? anyone else get that same problem ?

@JuggaloWolf Unfortunately, it's been a year or two since I last played the game, so I don't really know how I could help. You might go to IGN's website and look up the walkthrough for the game. It would be able to tell you what to do step-by-step.

I think the reason the graphics didn't age so well is because of the detail of the LoD(Level of Detail) system. As such, Tenpenny Tower looks like a broken building from far away, but up close it looks nice.

As for the tips, making the videos for like the DLC match what you're talking about would've been a plus, but the over all presentation is very nice. It's nice to see that you're getting better at this as well. Definitely sub material for reviews.
