In 1988 -1989 (and beyond) There were people from all over the world jacking to the sound of the underground in NYC & Chicago clubs including people from Moscow... And then they'd take the songs back to their country and jack there. Don't be a closed minded idiot
Hi i thing im ther only one from Germany which has heard in 88 this sound, and erverbody was shocked about me,cause they never heard a sound like this, some off them heard michael or nwa public eminem, then a gave them yoh gett funky, and the dance floor exploded like bnever before.
@Shemmomi I was in Germany (im from the UK) in 1988 and the house music scene was huge...We would go clubbing at Club holiday in Dortmund, the Tarn Centre in Bochum AND Chequers in Dusseldorf to name a few...
no, there are more. A friend of mine introduced me to house back then when we both were like 9 or ten years old, which would be around 1985. Camaro's Gang, Paul Hardcastle, Tolga Balkan and stuff like this, then Bomb the Bass, Hithouse, S'Express ... good times.
@Shemmomi I don't "sprechen ze deuch", sorry. esttt music nein es calme? leiden, aus? Very sorry. Aleman is my 4th language that i'm trying to practice. I'm terrible. My apologies.
@Shemmomi: Certainly you are not the only one... just a little late discovering thi sin 88, it came over from england in 86 (love can't turn around, Jack your body)
@Shemmomi nein, Du warst nicht der Einzige. No, you were not the only one. :-D.
but i don´t know, why they shocked about this sound. The sounds from Kraftwerk or other Elecronic sound bands are stranger then Fast Eddie. Great Stuff.
This was on a double cassette with various artists, i cant remember what the title was called, i used to have it but lost it, i need to get another copy, please help
coole track, heb je per ongeluk ook 'if you got a big ol' booty'? ben er al naar op zoek sinds ik het Dave Clarke hoorde draaien op I Love Techno ergens in de 90's...
You sure? I think it's the other way around. Of course it's the same sample, but in Fast Eddies version it goes 'I jack jo the sound of the underground' and in Hithouse Mix it's just 'Jack to the sound of the underground'. And Peter 'Hithouse' Slaghuis was known to sample a lot of things from Chicagos House Tunes....
