hey freak there is a cure! you only said that kids don't recover or get cured because your so sorry cause youre old enough to get cured! we parents still believe and strongly believes that children can be cured cause our children are still young and has lots of chances to get cured! ur too late for biomeds and hbot and ait! thats y ur so upset! but ill suggest u to try the biomeds maybe it can cure u 2! peace
I see you didn't understand my message in the slightest. You also obviously have no clue what you are talking about. You should try reading all the comments and getting an education on the subject. You call me a freak and you're the one who can't spell.
now if they could see what kind of spirit you actually have, they would see they are missing out on a unique person. Unfortunately common in our circumstances eh? You've got a good sense of humor
good vid but i dont understand why ppl want a cure ive got a wee brother and 2 wee sisters that have it and i wouldent change them 4 the world im 15 and ive also got ocd and tourettes lol
Well, there's no reason to let your guard down for any company. If I found out that they were supporting anything like what you describe I would go off on them. Oh, boy, "co-working deficit" is a term I'm not sure I understand. Course I'm tired, had a long day, still specify a little for me and i will try to answer.
The majority of autism speaks research funding goes to the "autism genome project"(for prenatal DNA testing), for obvious reasons, they are hideous about that.
I meant, if you're progressively becoming lower functioning, is there any second specified disorder or disease, or is it just specified as 'progressive autism'?
Okay, the actually do the same thing for things like downs syndrome, from what I have witnessed they generally frown on that becoming a reason for abortions and such. There is no early intervention, but early education is agreeable to me.
As for my conditions, its the best way I can describe what is happening to me. Much is still being tested. I am in the hands of drs but they don't know what to do. I do have comorbid conditions but the drs don't agree on their actual effects on each other.
Okay, so you would give these decisions openly to 3,4,5,6 year old children with out any knowledge of their co morbid conditions? Please think before you comment.
Just fyi my daughter's vaccine reaction was severe. My daughter had blood in her diaper within 6 hours of 4 vaccination shots. Seizures, fevers, and endless vomitting were there also. I think some- not all autism is vaccine induced. Just fyi from a mommy who cares. I really liked your video. Angela
You hang in there. I'm glad my video worked for you. Education is the word and you are using it well. I wish your little one the best, don't lose hope.
My friends may call me a traitor but my thoughts are that a autism disorder is not curable. However I think you can choose to recover from certain traits that hinders one life. My daughter has vaccin induced autism. I am concerned with communication and improving her phyiscal ability. Oh and the seizures. I think chelation is dangerous. I want more research. I am hesistant about certain "cures". But I can say educate before you vaccinate. It harmed my duaghter. Angela
Last I checked there is no such thing as progressive autism.
You may be talking about some co-morbid conditions which are often associated with autism but which are actually different conditions.
The autism that autistics are up in arms about curing is the communication / personality aspect that people often describe as asperger syndrome and yes, they are trying to cure that too.
New areas of the spectrum are beging identified nearly every month. Yes I have co-conditions, but they were caused by my autism. Please see my video on mixed conditions. And... I say again.. no one can force you to take any "cure" that you don't want. And there is no cure so let's find something real to worry about, like just being supportive to each other.
This is true, however it is not what most autistics are worried about. It has often been said that a cure is likely to come in the form of a pre-natal test which can be used to decide whether to abort or not.
If you were an uninformed parent being told by a doctor all the nasty things doctors believe about autism today, how willing would you be to have that child? How many parents would, and if they weren't how many autistic spectrum people would then end up being born?
There's one more thing that can be said about this. I see "new autism discoveries" in google news every month, but how many of them are actually the truth?
A lot of those reports seem to be desperate grasps at straws than having any truthful basis to them.
That could be, but it's very hard to try and discern one from another. There are certain traits that tend to go with each condition. And people are looking for answers. I know I actually felt better when I could start to understand my condition and it answered a thousand questions from deep in my past. Maybe they're true and maybe they're not, it's pretty hard to say unless you are living it. Even then.....???
Yeah, I went through that phase too. I spent weeks/months researching and reached a point where I realised there was nothing about what I really wanted to know: How to adapt to this world.
I am more and more convinced that the only way we are ever going to truly figure out what autism is is to figure out what non-autism is. That is to say, figure out what non-autistic socialising is all about.
It's like having a model of the supposedly healthy human mind, like doctors have of the body.
Show me any other campaign for disinformation. Remove the Mercury, Alum., formaldehyde, ether, antifreeze. Reevaluate the sched. What was the death rate from these deadly diseases in 1983 that we had to add 26 shots? All we need is therapy, respite, and recovery.
But you have to take each individuals condition into account. You can't approach this like it's a "blanket" statement. Your type of autism needs not cure, but the boy above deserves to be functional again and have "treatment". There is no cure, so it's pointless to fight over it.
Well put. I can see why your son should have treatment. No one else should be up in arms about it. It should be a free choice. Like everything else in america.
hey men i'm sorry, i already got your message, once again i'm sorry,.. hope for the best of us, and for a recovery... Peace!

Well said, it all matters on the type of autism and the people. I feel the same way about my son.

There is lots of progress going on with the research labeled treatment, intervention and therapy, which is great.
What I'm concerned about with the organisations that claim to be looking for a cure, is that the only things they are actually aiming for is
mapping all DNA that give autistic personality traits, emphasising routine abortion, and lately developing drugs that make auties want to act NT.
And btw, with progressive autism, what is the co-working deficit?

No, it's not up to the parents. It's up to the autistics themselves.

An interesting idea, worth balancing and observing. I don't know how we'll ever classify that though. Still, good idea.

Parents are saying Green our vaccines.
Facts:
1983: Autism rate 1 in 10,000
Vac. sched. 10 shots
2008: Autism rate in boys 1 in 70
Vac. sched. 36
My sons last words after his shots:
"My name is Tanner. My name is Tanner."
Show me any other campaign for disinformation. Remove the Mercury, Alum., formaldehyde, ether, antifreeze. Reevaluate the sched. What was the death rate from these deadly diseases in 1983 that we had to add 26 shots? All we need is therapy, respite, and recovery.
