I think I once heard on State of the Game the speakers mention how SC2 'needed a heel' (they were likening it to wrestling). Regardless I think this is very true, the Drewbies and Idras are so much fun to watch because you never know when they're going to rage and people love to hate them!

At least when Idra rages he usually has a "good" reason. I put "good" in scare quotes because there's never really a good reason, but Idra typically doesn't get roflstomped by a creative strat and then complain. He just suffers from terran and toss envy. He seems to want 200/200 zerg to be able to beat anything.

Wow, I don't know how its possible, but these 2 guys r so pro, they managed to jump right into the 7:27 mark of the game. That's an unreasonable suggestion, though. Typically when you get that early banshee with the 1-1-1 in TvT there's no real need to wall in because you've got a hard counter to hellions and marauders, and you've got your own Hellions to deal with marines, which means that any early harass you can deal with before it causes serious damage. What made it not enough was the unorthodox double factory, which means the real solution, IMO, was just scouting that and reacting.

That build does seem questionable, for instance, what would he do if a Terran walled off? I know that's not standard play, but if the opponent sensed that you'd open with hellions (double factory...) he might well do that. You could go for a medivac drop of them, but that's less scary as its slower, and woud be less hellions (4). Seems like just a simple wallin + making units would work wella against it. It just was too bad that Drewbie went hellions himself, his build is destroyed by this.

Drewbie never made it into Deathrow's base because he had marines at the front. Because of that he only scouted the hellions when they were 3/4 of the way across the map. No chance of walling off in time.

That being said, after he got RAPED the first time, you are 100% correct in saying he should have walled off. He probably figured Deathrow would transition into something standard.
