  • 1984-2006 best era in WWF-WWE

  • I remember PIper, Orton and Jesse Ventura in a six man tag match vs Hillbilly Jim, Uncle Elmer and Cousin Luke. I love how Piper called Uncle Elmer Humphrey the Humpback.

  • the WWE sandelous need to put my stepdad Hillbilly Jim in the Hall of Fame already!!!!!

  • Put Hillbilly Jim in the Wrestling Hall of Fame. Find us on Facebook.

  • Pro wrestling was so much fun to watch in the 1980's because every wrestler and commentator in the WWF in those days had a personality. It didn't matter if the guy was a hero or a heal it was entertaining TV.

  • wrastled, thats what im talking about

  • Rowdy Roddy Piper was the utlimate heel wrestler and agitator.

  • 1:53 Hillbilly Jim admits to being a backyarder!

Damn, I'd pay to see him jumping off a trampoline onto some lighttubes while Uncle Elmer held the camcorder and screamed "OH MY GOD!"

  • Playboy in the pit ;p

  • I never saw this. This was cool how Hillbilly got his debut.

  • Hillbilly Jim. As Bobby "The Brain" Heenan said "the dumb hick from Mudlick." lol.

  • $2-300 a week might have been what a jobber got back then.

  • instead of Polly Wolly Doodle,we can Rowdy Roddy Piper all the day

  • Roddy looks more like a Bavarian German than a Scotsman in this vid LOL! If he thought he was gonna be dressing like a hillbilly, he should have done some research first!

  • didn't hillbilly Jim have a hit single....

"Don't go messin with a country boy"

  • He had a single, not a hit single. McMahon made a whole album during the "Rock-n-Wrestling" fad. Mostly just wrestlers just "talking" lyrics but some could sing.

  • Hillbilly Jim had to sing because he couldn't wrestle for beans. Piper is a star and Jim is nothing but a loser. lol.

  • @caveman926 yes he did. It was on the wrestling album

  • Hillbilly Jim wasn't much of a wrestler, but he definitely had charisma and he was over with the crowd. Proof of that was that the rest of the hillbillies they brought in, like Uncle Elmer and Cousin Luke, all flopped. Hillbilly Jim was definitely a star in his time and I think he deserves to be in the WWE hall of fame.

  • @uncletomthall true true but you have to admit Piper was the best

  • I remember the buildup for this. Jim was on for like 4-5 weeks just sitting ringside. Nice slow buildup. In later years wrestling was geared to a much shorter attention-span.

Too bad he turned the offer down--Piper might have made something of him.

  • first off, why are you looking at his thighs?? Second, this was about 25 years ago and your bitching at him??!!

  • hillbilly jim is a good man, he lives up tha holler from me..yeppp, he ain't no fighter though..ed snead slipshucked his wife and jim didn't do nothin...yeppp..

  • git r done

  • post more piper's pits.

  • I like Roddy's hat.

  • "This is Ace...he's my bodyguard...I love my bodyguard" LOL

  • I loved how Piper was trying to get Hillbilly Jim to join the darkside he almost suceeded until Hulk Hogan came out and made Hillbilly an offer he couldn't refuse.

  • "you look like a big, ol' fella..."

"I know decisions are hard fer ya..."

  • Nice hat!
