  • im about one out, what its the diference between the Core Grafx 1 and the Core Grafx 2? i know th e Core have the AV over the Pc-Engine, but whats the benefit of Core 2?

  • @Padoca85 From what I've read, there is no difference

  • might of got my hands on a shuttle pc engine are thay as rare as people make out (and ebay for that matter lol)?

  • @froggydarren sorry for late reply, don't think Shuttles are too rare, except boxed ones are super rare. They don't link up with CDROM systems either, I would go for a normal model, however if you got one already, right on!

  • Shuttle boxed is extremely rare, especially if it comes with original instructions / styrofoam etc. This is because the Shuttle was made for KIDS, and kids rip these apart and play with the Shuttle as both a flying toy and a video game. Loose Shuttles are not hard to find, but a complete boxed ones are for the above reasons. I spent $300 for my complete in box w/instructions and foam. well worth it.

  • Nice Video. I was wondering is it worth getting the PC engine DUO-R. I have found one on auction that is about 55 dollars so far. What do you think, he is the listing. Has had a new laser put in.

  • Rare Pc engine's LT add on on Ebay

  • you forgotn the turbo express and the pc fx

  • Pc Engine LT...... Lucky mf!

  • is it true one could use the genesis 2 (or maybe 1) AV cable on the PC engine.

  • The Shuttle was so pointless.... Looks cool, but NEC/Hudson must have been eating too many magic mushrooms when they thought the Shuttle would be a good idea.

Also, what's with not having a CD-ROM attachment to match the first Core Grafx!?!

  • Combination wrong. Why Arcade Card Pro with Core Grafx2? "Arcade Card Pro" for CD-ROM2 System(IFU-30). SUPER CD-ROM2, DUO, DUO-R and DUO-RX are "Arcade Card Duo".

  • @doujindance

Not wrong. Both the Duo and Pro cards will work just fine in any Super CD system. The Pro is the ONLY Arcade card that will work with the original CD-ROM2/Interface unit.

  • Nice vid, you've got a great PCE hardware collection. And yes I do like the Shuttle, it gets top style points and looks as if it could blast off into outer space, doing a little bit to time travel and showing distant worlds the way of the PC Engine.

  • @BossBossly Boss, I would dearly love to see a video of your PC Engine game collection. It would enhance my wellbeing. !! Ha ha power to the shuttle dude, if I could find one boxed I would probably invest. Back a year or so I could have bought a couple at a reasonable price. Not now. I don't like the fact it doesn't have the extension bus though. That's just lazy.

  • Informative vid PCE Guru! :)

  • @ianwilson1978 where there is knowledge there will be...videos.

  • @futurematt5 hey bro! , i can atm get a hold of a core grafx 2 model for around 58 euros including shipping , does this seem like a decent price? , also what type of power supply can i use here in europe? does the sega master system and mega drive ones work ?

  • I've got an official PAL Turbografx if you ever need photos of it!

  • @LarryBundyJr cor! When you say official, is that NEC official or officially modded by someone in a basement?!! Does it look any different to the US Turbografx>? What region games does it play? Sorry for the questions, interested!

  • @futurematt5 Oh no no no, it is an official PAL UK Turbografx, it's not modded in anyway, it's the real deal. Telegames bought the European rights off NEC and released about 500 to trade shows Etc. in hopes some chains would buy them. But noone did. You see them floating around on eBay occasonally. But the main difference is the name, it's just "Turbografx" no 16 on the end. It has AV out ports and inside it's got a PAL signal converter. But it plays US games.

  • @LarryBundyJr Shame it can't play English games...even if there weren't any. Why on earth they never has an official PC Engine in the UK is still beyond me,. I wonder if there were any discussions with companies over here>?

  • @futurematt5 There never were any English games. all UK games released were US games, they couldn't even be bothered to change the logo on the pack in game even (still had turbografx 16 on the card)

  • Cool video. I never even noticed that some of the old white pc engine controllers DON'T have the turbo switches, until another vid I saw recently.

  • Great video man lol, I like that little "and the rest". LOL the shuttle is a great system bah :D

  • Nice, still think NEC made the most aesthetically pleasing video gaming hardware ever .

  • Absolutely bril.

  • I have a Core Grafx II at the moment that is missing the lid on the back. The Shuttle looks awful LOL. I'll be getting a Duo-R or RX soon :)

  • So many systems yet I wish I had them all. Cool vid!
