The Moon gives off deadly Gamma radiation. The Apollo spacesuits looked like antique diving suits with gold visors. Notice the Shuttle suits? VERY heavy with servo motors because no human being can articulate fingers or limbs in a pressurized suit in a micro atmosphere. btw I KNEW the nuns in my grammar school were reptiles!! lol

@misterbuckethead Where did you look? NASA? Yup, photos don't lie, right? Google "Fake Moon Photos" How much radiation is emitted by the Sun during a solar maximum? Apollo was during a Solar Max. The earth, magnetic fields, atmosphere and Van Allen belts provide us with the equivalent of three feet of lead shielding. Standing on the Earth's surface alone limits the exposure completely from one side and shields substantially from the sides as well.

By travelling at an angle the radiation from the Van Allen Belt was almost completely bypassed. Even skeptics have admitted this. Maybe you don't understand how much radiation it takes to kill someone. It takes 4 Sieverts to kill someone. Total radiation intake by the astronauts? about 1. You must be light years ahead of all the "scientists" (on both sides of this argument) that claim that the van allen belt radiation (which is centralized over the equator) would have caused no harm to the overhead astronauts.
