He probably uses the gp plus gloves because it offers him more feel of the controls since it has less protective leather and plastic. Some riders go by the philosophy that if they have more feel for the controls and can have extra sensitivity to recieve feedback from the front wheel by having less restrictive (protective) gloves then that may lead to less crashes in the first place. Others don't care either way, they just want to have as much protection as possible.
no kidding, apparently you don't understand how I worded that. I'm curious as to why he uses the less-protective kind. f course I'm not casey stoner... you figure that out on your own?
The GP Plus, GP Pro, and GP Tech all offer excellent protection, however the GP Pro, and GP Tech just offer a slightly higher level of protection/conforts for the more higher performance rider.
The fact is, Casey was wearing the GP Pro, not the GP Plus, and now wears the GP Tech, and has for a very long time.

he doesn't wear the gp tech period! but a older version of GP plus without the plastic wrist cuff, his choice, not necessarily the safest one...

Let me clear up a few points...
Casey does not use the GP Plus glove.
What you see in this video is the old GP Pro glove, which was revamped for 2008.
Casey now uses the GP Tech, and did for most, if not all, of the 2008 season.

"Many riders have lost their fingers..." You don't lost your fingers if you know how to come down during the crash.

Why Casey uses just GP Plus gloves? :O

weird... I use higher quality gloves than Stoner! I have GP techs, just barely a step above the GP plus
