have not heard this version before today. I apologize to you and MYSELF for missing this ascetic and beautiful sympany. WoW I didn't God allowed His angels from heaven to visit us. Thank you.
These ladies cover this Miracles song with classic taste... Smokey has got to be proud of how they sang his song.... totally awesome !!! .... with the Japanese flair in their couple of songs,... is very tranquil and calming... Arigato
This song is beautiful. Heaven is a beautiful place where we can live eternally by the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He gave his Life for us and if we except Him into our hearts and lives and believe in and love GOD we can be there. Please except.
I have always loved A Taste of Honey and this was one of my favorites. Can you please upload "Never Go Wrong"? I can't find it anywhere! I even bought their Anthology album but it's not on there. :(
@ArchieGe AWESOME!!! And I actually recorded it from my parents' old record when I went home for Thanksgiving. But it's just on my phone. Can't wait to hear it on here! THANKS SO MUCH!!!
@davis1922 Never Go Wrong is on the CD "1997 A Taste of Honey"" Beauty and theBoogie" Heart of Soul series along with this song, Sayonara and We've Got the Groove and other favorites. And Janice Marie Johnson"s solo single "Love Me Tonite". They release this album "Ladies of the Eighties" on CD
I saw them perform this song on SOUL TRAIN a couple months ago and I loved it; I never heard Smokey's version before but I do know that I love this version.
I remember seeing TOH perform for a PBS Special (after 20 years) and before the song she told the audience that she was part Japanese. She even played a Japanese string instrument. She looks blasian :)
this is one of smokey robinson,s old hits . taste of honey does a good job on it . also the temptations did a version . this just lets you realize the awlsome song-writing ability of smokey.
This is when you could hear the MUSICAL instruments...today..we are not listening to good music for the most part...more talking and not many "real" singers.
these sisters were beautiful and example how blacks folks can bring a love song to us like no others can do! the gangster rap artist should learn how it is done!
I always wanted to see these ladies in concert, my mom use to play them all the time at her parties....I always wish that I was part of this era....This is real music and so different....Play on...Peace
Thanks ArchieGe, for posting this song...I was a kid (6 years...)when my brothers put this "LP" to play....Nice to know that somebody could recover these nice song.... I am very surprised I can listen it after all these years...
