I got 2 Samurai's. A carb and an i. My Nikki carb is powerful but omg, my 1.3i with K&N intake and open exhaust drives like fucking hell. A Range Rover can't make it up to 70 km/h. ;-)

stock sammys are awesome, they can do some amazing stuff. i ragged my 95 z71 out hard, and my friend in the sammy was the only one who go hang.. amazing asending and desending angles once lifted, a reverse shackle lift, a locker and 31s. and you'r gonna have fun. you may need more if you cant off road well.. it alot of control and driver manueverabilit. but of course, 4 ft mud is gonna be a hassle, but get a winch and you'll be find.

I owned a CJ-5 back in the '70s and currently own a 1988 Sammy that I bought new. They're both excellent 4Xs. One advantage the Sammy has is that being so light you don't have to beat it up so much. It just floats on top of sand, mud, whatever that the CJ would have to torque through. Also it handles deep water better. The CJs advantage was that it was a more powerful, heavily armoured, and rugged vehicle. The Sammy is 20 years old and has never let me down.
