Hears what I'm thinking about this, it would probably be interesting if it was a little spin on the Sonic X plot. Like maybe after the Great War the humans mysteriously disappeared during a battle between the Freedom Fighters and Eggman, they stumble apon Station Square. The Freedom Fighters may ally with Hope Kintobor, while they are mistaken as Mobian invaders by the governement. But this is just a thought.

If you watch the interviews with Ben Hurst you'll find the show was always intended to be darker, more mature.

If you guys ever get this project off the ground, I'll be backing this up in spirit, as much as I can. Should another series be made like this, I say they need to get back with one of the original writers from SATam, animate it like the sonic riders anime intro, and get new voice actors ( or get roger craig smith if he's good). That's just my opinion. Think about it, alot of shows have either had reboot-series or a movie. I don't care which one you give him SEGA, just give sonic one!

This actually looks pretty interesting; dark, or rather 'darker', but interesting nonetheless. Should Sega and Archie ever lose the rights, you have to got to start this up while you have the chance. Just make sure the humans/side characters are not characters from other games, like Spyro...

Well I played the original game but after that I became a big fan of eighties and nineties cartoons. The one most mentioned was SATAM and it took me awhile to figure out what that meant, but when I did I just kept digging. A cartoon show with an interesting premise based on (and inspiring) two long running comic series, one in the UK? I was hooked XD

I dunno. Personally I'm all for Sonic maintaining a kind of innocence (seeing as that's where he came from) but in the context of the storyline he might have a gun.

As far as this trailer goes, I full-heartedly agree that Sonic needs a new show that goes back to where he belongs, on Mobius as a Freedom Fighter. Though I dont agree with everything that the games and Sonic X had going, they were still okay, I'd give Sonic X about a 6 out of 10, one rating for Shadow, the other for Super Sonic. The games, I've seen way worse ones people, but yeah they could be better.

Giving this more thought, this is definetely a good idea. What would make this even greater, is if this was a show that was on Saturday mornings, sort of a way of revitializing the Saturday morning cartoons as...well within the last 10 years they have gone to hell and its filled with 90 percent mindless crap, 5 percent iffy shows, and 5 percent half-way decent cartoons.

I personally thought Samurai Jack was a step in the right direction, an episodic story which wasn't afraid to be atmospheric and even dramatic at the same time offering laughs and awesome vistas and fight scenes. I'm still not sure why that left the airways without a trace, or why they replaced the excellent hand drawn Clone Wars show with a generic CG version!

I do hope Matt Sullivan can one day bring this show to the screen.

The Celldweller son has always been a personal favorite of mine. It has an edge to it and a lot of energy and suggested speed to me. The lyrics too are all about escaping from restrictions and finding another place to be free, which I felt fit the theme of Sonic's story. The dragon was supposed to be Dulcy (hard to find dragons that don't look scary in game trailers!)
