Spectacular. Simply spectacular. I love Rush. I love this song! Now, I just want you to know it is all your fault; I have been considering getting into drumming for a long time, even though I am too old (in my 40s) for it to be of any use, but it just looks so fun. This excellent video was part of the deciding factor. I am now looking to purchase an edrum set (apartment living, gotta keep quiet), and sign up for lessons. I just wanted to say thank you. @331paradiddle I play this song and also 6 other Rush songs in a cover band and luckily all the drum parts are written out in a book from Alfred Music called Drum Techniques Of Rush. It's kind of a weird title considering that the book has nothing to do with drum techniques; it's just the parts written out. 15 songs altogether and 95% accurate. There are other Rush drum books as well. They are one band that it is easy to find drum transcriptions. Now if only someone would write a Who drum book!

I played this damn song for almost six years 3 to 5 nights a week and I never thought I would ever enjoy hearing it again. That was awsome. So many drummers over think the plumming when it comes to Rush. They think "Peart! OH NO! I must be doing it wrong unless I'm jamming like crazy!" Danny Carey said it best.
