Same chord structure (or fingering) except depending on the banjo or uke the keys vary. I tune my tenor banjo the same as a guitar (first 4 strings DGBE) so the chords are the same but on the banjo uke the tuning is the same as if you put a capo at the fifth fret of the guitar. The strings on the banjo uke are tuned GCEA. Now if you play the "D" chord formation on the banjo uke you are actually playing the "G" chord. "G" becomes "C" and "A7" becomes "D7".

Greatest cover yet! When you play the banjo is it basically the same as a guitar? Like the chords etc.. ?
