It's somehow compact even though it is a large car. Beautifully proportioned lines and just solid in every way. Definetly my favourite 4-door out there.

Tiffs television career started in the mid 1980s as part of the BBCs motor racing commentary team, where he worked alongside Murray Walker. In 1987 he joined Top Gear as the performance car specialist and presented some quite legendary road tests of cars like the McLaren F1

That's why it's amazing. A friend of mine flew off the higway with 180kmph, the car flipped arround 9 times and it fell on tyres. Yes, it was destroyed, but he and his car were able(alive and in condition) to start the engin and move it to a side. He got a broken rib. That's why heavy is not bad for powerful car...it's about the safetyness...You don't want to pull this stunt with a 1200kg japanese car, trust me :P

E39 M5 was the best M5 I think, it's output per litre and it's rev limit were actually quite low for an M car, but everything else on the car made is awesome, and that's not to say the engine was underpowered, just that 80bhp/l is a bit low for an M car, mind you, has basically the same torque as the E60 M5.

Actually, from experience this was one of the best things BMW did. Sounds odd.

Have you ever noticed that when driving at speed, your wipers drag the rain back across? This means that you have an inch or two of rain blurring your vision. The wipers operating in a curve means that this effect is occurring on the passenger side, not the drivers - means you have better vision. Thats what i found. I prefer them that way, but thats my opinion.

It appears that it does that to both to me and probably to BMW as well. They haven't reversed it here yet. BTW you can use rainx and you don't even have to turn on the wipers at speeds above 55mph

No for lhd they don't reverse them, you get them the conventional way. I cant be bothered with rainx. Its more expenditure, and I'd rather have wipers that work. Anyway, with a rainsensor, they come on anyway - you have no choice.
