I always thought there should be a boss battle some time shortly after defeating Rubicante, against a mage/warlock type creature whose elemental weakness keeps shifting, and if you use the wrong element it absorbs the spell (healing) and then counterattacks with a level 3 (-aga) attack spell corresponding to its current weakness, OR the Holy spell if it's weak against Holy! Give him high enough Intelligence and Spirit so the -aga spells do about 2000 damage and Holy about 3000 damage.

@KanzakiJunn I think it only seems that way, because you fight "normal" Exdeath right before Neo Exdeath, while Zeromus only has one form that you fight.

You're talking as if Final Fantasy IV had no "epic" battles. Personally, Culex never appears in my head when this song plays; Zemus fighting Golbez and FuSoYa comes to mind, sometimes the Mist Dragon does. Culex is an optional boss with recycled music.

Oh, and Final Fantasy only has a bigger fanbase than SMRPG because it's a whole SERIES. If we were talking about FFIV alone, then SMRPG would have more fans.
