I heard of this music before. This was used in Video Games Live concerts whenever they did The Legend of Zelda, which was almost all the time. Or at least some of the music..
lol hear the kid at 0:47 humming along with the music? x) Next year my band is going to do Super Mario Bro's, Zelda, Tetris, and one more 8 bit game's theme song but it is undecided.
Sounds like somethin that should be in the original Star Trek series to meh.........Not somethin' from the Legend of Zelda series ^_- except.... maby TP....... Never played that game... terrible -.-
Not to brag, as I realize many in this discussion have done the same, but I just want to confirm from personal experience that marching 200 bpm is very possible.
160 is not bad at all actually the band I marched in high schools opener and closer junior year were at 180 bpm and we pulled it off. Then senior year the opener was at 160,140,180. And part of the closure was at 200. It's not impossible it just takes a whole lot of training. Amazing video btw I am a huge Zelda fan and I was totally awed when I saw this show. Good job :)
the trailer theme is kinda too slow for me. i can understand the slowness cause no one can march real fast (i arranged this too and the speed was like 160. impossible to march unless you have really quick legs)
It's the music from the trailer of Twilight Princess. A strange arrangement of it, but hey, the director and students probably transcribed it. And Zelda is Zelda. Still super epic. :)
That was awesome! The arrangement was a tad different, but still fit Orchestra Piece #1 pretty well. I heard a fan say "It would be awesome if they made a triforce" or something along those lines. It's kinda hard to tell from the video, but did they? Kinda looked like it, but hard to say for sure...
My band needs to do this. Stat. :I

but then there are limits. if you march really far at a tempo like that, it's gonna tire you out really quickly.
