CPS workers care nothing for your children. They are cattle to them. They really dont understand why you get so upset when they take them away. They see it as a sign of emotional instability. When your child is devestated and terrorized by being removed from the only protector they've ever known, they believe this is a sign of depression and heap medication after medication on them. i live in san antonio texas ,and my child was taken from the mother .i was never contacted or given a voice in this matter. my child was placed with the grandma because the mother wanted her there.when i asked the case worker why ,they told me she has the say so where the child goes even if the moter was beating her kids and on drugs.cps are nothing but thugs and rob people of there rights.

The workers are not getting money for the children they take.If anyone is making money, it is an elected official whom the people have elected.My paycheck doesn't go up if a child is adopted out-it doesn't go down if the child gets returned home.I get paid less than a teacher or police officer and turn over rates are high.Caseloads are high. the attack on you comment was from before the last few messages we have posted back and forth. I am a conservatorship worker- our goal is to conserve the family. We help the parents work a plan of service that the judge has ordered them to follow in order to get their children back. Most parents are successful unless they do not stop using drugs or gain gainful legal employment with stability- as in electricity, meals daily, and appropriate supervision.

WRONG! Neither the police, nor CPS, can come into your home. The Fourth Amendment protects you. They need probable cause. Probable cause is NOT someone's feeling, a dirty house, an anonymous phone call.

Learn your rights. Do NOT let CPS or the police into your home. Do NOT meet with the without having a lawyer present, even if you have to beg or borrow, or charge on your credit card.

Video tape and tape record EVERYTHING.

Good advice. Do not talk to CPS or Police under any circumstances even if you feel you are completely innocent. If they insist you say something, simply say, "I have nothing to say," and then tell them to leave your property.

Definitely do not let them in your home without a proper search warrant. Don't even open the door. If you must check a warrant, have the key with you and lock the door, step outside and close the door behind you.
