Is this game hard to play (as in very technical)? and do you play vs other players or the computer?

@Rievoldt The game is as simple as drag-and-drop, but is completely free-form. You shape your chassis and then put the parts you need anywhere in and on the robot. You need room for your control board and batteries (and maybe air for pneumatics) , and you can get really creative with the weapons (and controls, which you custom map). You can then fight AI or another player. This game is awesome.

I continued work on it for a while post-release but never boxed up the new bots due to the crazy number of custom parts I had to catalog.

They also come with the Robot Wars Arena, so you can fight them on their home turf, too = )

Funny but true story: DSL is/was made by a bunch of buddies of mine, and I was invited to be part of the DSL team, but my AON series took me away. Since then, I've always compared my bots to theirs, and while I know I don't have the custom models they do, I feel mine are more accurate, performance-wise. I strive for accuracy in control, speed, and weapon power. Do you know how many HOURS I spent tweaking each bots individual motors and such? Too many. lol

Looks like all those hours have paid off-I've downloaded your RW AI pack onto my laptop! I've got DSL on my computer, but I do feel some of the replicas there could be a little better. For instance, their Firestorm is too big and slow, and their Killalot is too small, wouldn't you agree?

I've also had a go at modifying the replicas on DSL-I fitted FireStorm with faster motors and stronger armour, as well as giving Chaos 2 a more powerful burst motor. And they've both worked! ^_^
