wow these are adorable! i want one so bad! i need to build my collection first! haha... umm yeah the "z pallets" do not appeal to me. they are cardboard...and i actually think they are pretty expensive for being cardboard. LOL... thanks fiona

The Z palettes to me..look like nothing more than a cardboard CD cover case..or something..In fact..I could maybe make one....not saying that it wouldn't be an epic fail though..hahah..

Gorgeous palettes...They look to fit about 8 shadows..?..

I wouldn't really compare these to Z palettes..the concept is there..but..

What I like about the Z palettes.. they have different sizes..and are affordable too.. I like the see thru case..Al though it looks dirty sometimes..

What I don't like about them..what I think would happen..they would look used up after a bit..[cardboard..]

These ones here would be awesome too, if it had the option to close, but lift..and see thru glass there~

Thanks for the comments, Chantal. With the thumb grip, the UNII palette fits 13 MAC eyeshadows.

Have you heard of the zpalette's? kandeejohnson from yt talked about them. it's similar to these unni palettes i think. it'd be nice if u did a PW on these two palettes. thanks!

I have heard of the Zpalette nad did mention it in the beginning of the video. I will not be purchasing them because 1) they are cardboard and I find that they tend to get warped since I store my makeup in my washroom and 2)they are targeted towards makeup artists and not so much to consumers as they lack a mirror and seal like the UNII palette.

Also, at the end of the video, I mentioned what products I'll be comparing to UNII palette to in a future episode.

i'm not sure if the coastal scents palets (the ones that hold the hot pots) are the same as the palets from stars makeup haven, but those ones have like foamy stuff between the pans, which i HATE. it makes it so hard to clean!

That's the exact palette I was talking about! I usually use rubbing alcohol and a cotton pad to clean it and it does the job.

yet another thing to add to my wishlist!! I have 2 free style Yaby palettes (from Camera Ready Cosmetics)--they are cheaper and the bottom comes magnetized, but the mirrors (both) are warped =(

Oh dear! How do mirrors get warped in a plastic case?

they don't look warped at first glance (no visible buckling), but when I look into them, my face appears 'stretched' horizontally (not pleasant, as my face is round enough already)--it is more like the mirrors used are low quality, as they don't seem damaged.

Great palettes. I want to own some NOW. For me I truly love MAC palettes, but having two palettes two carry (meaning blush and shadow) is horribly too much. And I love how their in different colors. I love the yellow.
