@chaffXgrenade who knows...I just went there, 22 blocks away..bought this game, I even told them I was a former Rockstar Vancouver™ developer, then bought the nearest copy on shelf.. but the 2nd weirdest thing is it being on the (Nintendo) GameCube™ shelf with the GameCube logo on the cover, then having a GameCube like disc and it saying "Saru-Get-Chu P!" which was also in Japanese. I tried to put it in my PSP, It did not Work! In which, I have a beta Version of GTA III since I am a developer.

XD I remember the first time that I got a PSP and got this game along with it.... I IMMEDIATELY thought that Spike was going to be similar to Sora from Kingdom Hearts because of his hair. That's what made me nickname Sora 'Spike' in the first place. Whoo, good times, good times.

The problem is actually just 2 joystick that can be emulated by another software, and for the pSX emulator, he'll "think" that it's a real joystick, so it should works properly :D

@KazamaJin718 well,there is pcsx hich is a ps1 emulator. it is the only one that can use something called the N-Rage gamepad plugin. so i downloaded it and ape escape but everytime it crashes on the itle screen where it asks for my dualshock controller. and i know it is not my iso because it works on my epsxe and psx.

I think i can answer that question. Both games have the same stroy, same time length. the only difference bewtween the two is the animation, design, voice, mini-games, and text from long&detailed, to Short&basic. that's all i can say.

plz read carefully before replying..theres a big difference between a Voice actor and Voice ActING...one is for the quality of the voice..and the other is how they use it..in ape escape 1 (PS1) the characters voices were pretty well..but they sounded like robots reading a scripy..at least in the PSP's version, they have more emotion....but the voices are just awkward

Nowadays, people expect Oscar-worthy performances from voice actors, and critics won't hesitate to poke fun at them for less-than-perfect acting.

I like the new graphics, and Natalie's voice sounds less grating from the first, but Spike's and Jake's voices just didn't feel right. Yeah, they're voice actors are talented and have voiced for great shows, but they just didn't fit the roles here. Also, I don't mind the Professor's voice at all, but his original dialogue sounded better... All this "this" and "that" logic wasn't needed. His simpler lines in the original game flowed much better.

When I heard that Ape Escape got Ported to PSP, I was psyched to play it!

But then... Jake's hair, Spike's Voice... Even Natalie's voice broke my nostalgic vibe.

The new voice actors are terrible (Yes, that IS Richard Horvitz, the voice actor who played Zim from Invader Zim, Orthopox from Destroy all Humans, and Daggett from The Angry Beavers, and even Billy, from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (Just to name a few of his voice overs....)

I loved this game, but it killed my nostalgia.

I remember playing this game. I just started playing the original on epsxe. Some of the voice actors were terrible. Some were good. The voice actors in this one are better. But, the voices aren't better, just the acting. I prefer Spikes other voice. He sounds like he's 13 in Ape Escape. He sounds like he's 9 in A.E. on the loose.
