Every time I've met Dax he's been timid. The first time not as much because he recognized me from an email I'd sent him about it being my first show. I don't think he's very comfortable with alot of aodration & attention...which makes me love him even more. What's with the girl & the sucker?!? And the lips...I've always thought they looked alot like Dax's...regardless of what he says...lol

Hey Guys, The comment I posted earlier wasn't in anger! I just saw Dax this past show at the Spanish Moon and everything is fine. I love him like a brother. That was just a comment I wrote after seeing his interview and disagreed with some of the things he said, that's all. definitely no hard feelings. I hope to work with him again in the future now that I'm finished my degree and have a full time performance career. I support Dax and everything he does, and I always will. He is a close friend.

Meeting Dax at a DBEM (duo) show was great. It's freaky because I'd hardly seen a picture of him, total Ronnie Van Zandt in the way that voice comes out of him, you'd expect him to be twelve feet tall or something. It was a special night for sure, and as any one of those videos around here can attest to, he certainly does deliver.

Mr Gautreaux, I can't assume things from a situation I wasn't a part of, but if you had your hand in that record, good luck to you sir.

As much as I agree with you, sometimes people just don't have time with work, kids, etc. I love great different music, but I'm so busy that I can't really actively seek it out.

Anyway, I did my "part" for underground music/art by going to shows and buying cds for years. So I don't feel guilty.

EXACTLY!This guy is a PURE lover of music as I am too!Only difference is,he has sacrificed much to play the wonderful,healing art of music!If I can financially retire at a young age,comparativley speaking,I will certainly focus on music and writing.This guy is just an inspiration,especially w/the mellower/emotive Acid Bath tunes like Venus Blue,Dead Girl etc.I would LOVE to write an album like that.I think I'm going to find Dax since it might be possible since he isn't into the rock star thing!

Man I'm from North Dakota and I don't know why but most of the people in the Minot scence know who the fuck these of Acid bath but not Agents. don't want to forget Goatwhore. Can't rember if Dax is in that band or not. But it's just really cool how this guy just seems to really love music.

Dax isn't in Goatwhore. Sammy Duet is the Acid Bath guy that's in that band; also Ben from Soilent Green. Dax has been in Acid Bath, Agents of Oblivion, deadboy & the Elephantmen, Daisyhead and the Moon Crickets, a solo project called Tdaks and White Plastic Soul, a team project with The Twitches, Dax Riggs solo (2 CDs out now on Fat Possum) and maybe one or two more I'm forgetting.
