I know alot of people will disagree with me, but this is garbage compared to their old stuff, Bostich, Lost again, Vicious Games, I love u, On track, with all the synth music out there, these guys were the pioneers that shouldve continued with that amazing sound.They should be blowing away all the trance acts out there. This is a combo of loungy jazz, great if you're into that, but that's not what made Yello successfull.

Yes I know what you mean, but some songs even sound like the old ones. I think it is not the best album and not the worst.

Do u think in your honest opinion, if they started out with this kind of music instead of Bostich, Lost again, I love u, etc, they would've had the success that they did. I doubt it, noone wouldve bought their music, and we would've never heard of them. I know alot of musicians expierment with different sounds thruout their careers, aka Depechemode, Petshopboys, etc, and make great music along the way, however this isn't in that category. we cant judge by this. you see those masterpieces which you've mentioned - they got certain influence on today's music. Therefore - even you can think of their today's music from a certain standpoint which is based on your experience of their previous creations. that way uou can compare - but if you would not be able to - you would probably protect their previous works - even if they would switch places with todays samples.

Yeah, but who's going to listen to this crap, they'r not thinking of the fans who were originally attracted to them because of the synth sound. It's almost like the Petshop boys making heavy metal music, or Depeche Mode converting to hippop, yeah they might get a new slew of fans, but how bout the ones who helped them get off the ground. Plus, usually very few musical acts can go completey against what they started with and be sound good. Eurythmics are one of the few.

I love "Stay," too. For some reason I can't stop listening to "Tangier Blue" and "Takla Makan." The whole album is amazing. I love how, to my ears at least, no two of their albums sound the same....which is a LOT MORE than I can say for most other groups.

Amazing, isn't it? We all have this ability now to buy, over the Internet, globally...but it remains beyond reach to certain areas (?!). You're right about Amazon and iTunes, et al....nowhere to be found, not even a hint of a pre-order. Guess I'll have to fly from here in America over to Zürich, and try to catch Dieter at his Restaurant Bärengasse. Argh!!
