depends how you look at it. Nique was an alltime great scorer who played during an extremely tough era in his conference (Bird's celtics, Jordan's bulls, Barkley's Sixers, Isiah's Pistons). He may be no better than Melo indeed, but Melo is regarded as a superstar now and Nique is not remembered as one of his era's greats. I'd say leaving him off the alltime top 50 list in 1996 made him eternally underrated

manu isnt clutcher!!!!!!!!! monta has WAY more clutch moments and manu had a couple clutch moments but monta just has more moments, and monta plays those minutes bcuz he can handle it manu can barely hande the minutes he plays, he gets fatigue ive seen him often, face it monta has more stamina and more clutch

thank you for having Dennis Johnson on your list, and #2......amazing defensively and underated offensively....i would have James Worthy and Kevin Mchale on their too....i know they got respect, but bird/magic overshadowed them.... joe dumars, alex english, i even think clyde the glide drexler was underated....also sidney moncrief..

@leeazo Dude I totally fucking agree with you. Dennis Rodman is one of the best defenders in history, or arguably the best in my opinion. George Gervin is fucking amazing and he is so underrated.

@Faronas13 No need for name calling my man. MJ was always a highly acclaimed player. Just because he wasn't drafted first doesn't mean that he was underrated. The Trailblazers definitely blew it, no doubt. But that isn't what this list is about. This is a good list of underrated players. Not trying to be negative, just trying to make a point. God bless.

@SuperTwins2010 actually know miller is not underrated hes only a 5 Time All-Star in 18 Seasons, He has no D, he can't pass, he can't rebound, he can't do anything but shoot the basketball. Hes the best shooter in NBA history but besides that he not good at anything else.

depends how you look at it. Nique was an alltime great scorer who played during an extremely tough era in his conference (Bird's celtics, Jordan's bulls, Barkley's Sixers, Isiah's Pistons). He may be no better than Melo indeed, but Melo is regarded as a superstar now and Nique is not remembered as one of his era's greats. I'd say leaving him off the alltime top 50 list in 1996 made him eternally underrated
