debating on this one or the smaller version of this where it just kind of bubbles up but doesn't go into another bowl... hmm... any suggestions?

Have you ever had a problem with it suddenly overflowing? It just happend here and we bough it yesterday. I'm not sure if it's one of our cats (which love to bump his waterbowl so water splaces everywhere) that may have bumped this too, or if it did it on its own. Any experience? =)
