There is an old pottery phrase:"The first thousand are the hardest". And thats for each shape you learn . Great throwing and glad your enjoying yourself . After 42 years throwing I still look forward every day to get out to the shop . Yours ib clay Guy Wolff

when you pull it up....pull up but in..u pull it up and out so it gets wide and off center at the top..also you pull uyp too fast slow it down..all in all ur getting good!

"Throwing" is short for "Wheel throwing"-meaning: the action of creating ceramic pieces on the potter's wheel.

Great video. He makes it look deceptively easy! I would love to learn how to do it and incorporate it in my work. The firing would be the sticking point though. No kiln access!
