Do you plan to upgrade to a carbon fiber driveshaft at any point? PST makes some. I'm not sure of other places. They quoted me around $500 for my '94 V6. Also, Braille Batter dot com has some lightweight batteries. Their lightest is under 4 lbs!
@wccrispy nah im gonna stick with the aluminum driveshaft i think the carbon fiber ones are two pricy, my mechanic who has a 04 mach 1 mustang said a carbon fiber one for our year is 800 and up
@skastershane It's always worth looking into. I'd also suggest looking into lightweight wheels. Enkei makes some good stuff. Good luck with it all man. You have a really nice vehicle.
@wccrispy thanks man yea ive been saving up for some centerline lightweight wheels for the drag strip.
but since this video ive done some more upgrades...got bbk upper and lower control arms, tokico shocks and struts, a 3500 stall converter and an 8.8 rear end
@skastershane Wow man, it seems like you're making a a good drag car. Why did you choose to go the route of a drag car (power-oriented) and not an autocross (handling-oriented) kind of car?
@XxNORCAL007xX
The new 2011 is also $22,000. His probably cost 1/3 that.
