I got to meet Root Boy Slim at the Psyche Delly in Bethesda, MD, about 1984 or 1985. When I told him how I loved music, he said, "Don't quit your day job!" He was a very intelligent fellow, bohemian and hip as can be, very witty and hilarious in his stage act.
OMG - I searched for this on here for years, gave up, just tried again, found it - you made my day!!!!! Thank you so much for uploading this - and keep it coming!
Who else but Root Boy could put a musical perspective to the inhuman conditions of present day mental institutions? Using music, humor and zaniness, his ability to bring focus to aspects of life that no other musical artists would come close to touching was truly unique. What a funny dude! No has filled the void since his passing. God bless him, he is truly missed.

My college bf found this in a Caldor cut-out bin in the late 80's, and took a chance on it. This record is pure Godhead!
