    with respect

  • @askreed Thanks, I appreciate you watching and the the nice comment too.

  • @Tirlers Thanks much

  • I'm singing along. :D

  • That's what I always hope for. Thanks for watching... and singing along.

  • Jim's original hit #32 in Billboard. God bless!

  • Hey man uou certainly have a feel fpr Jim's music. When I first heard him sing in 1973, I went out and bought my first Ovation. I enjoy your singing and playing (It's hard to be a one man show) Keep it up and I'll be listening. Please check out my version of this song if you get a chance.. Thanks alot........thecaptflashback......

  • Will do, thanks!

  • Some os the most clever lyrics ever.

  • No one writes like Jim. He was definitely one of a kind.

  • I like what you're doing, and its all for fun, but, I think you should practice with a metronon. You got off beat a lot, which is easy when you don't have drums. The "being off beat" in the break between verse an chorus, where you've got a couple chords that are supposed to be syscopated, that really stands out. You add an extra message (4beats ) of rest in the 2nd verse.

  • Wow, that is some comprehensive analysis, I'll take it under advisement. Keep in mind I have no formal training and I'm not a muscian. Thanks for the comment and for listening.

  • Thanks! I hope it helps you; I don't read any music, just play for fun and relaxation.

  • probably one of favorite Croce songs. using your video to learn to play it as I can't read music. good job.

  • Another good cover of yours.

  • Thanks! This is a fun song to play.

  • You've got a good ear and a good vioce, and the joy of it, your a musian alright. Just work on the rythm a bit. Count each measure 1,2,3,4 and each beat 1 e and ah. 2 eand ah, and you'll have it.

  • Thanks, I appreciate your advise.
