@cjs0071 In-Dash Navigation Receivers do not require a monthly subscription fee for their navigation system. Some may require subscription to take advantage of updating traffic services, however some In-Dash Navigation GPS Receivers have built-in Traffic Tuning for life as well.
@hotdrkid4life2 Sounds like the parking brake wire wasn't connected properly. The head unit is trying to tell you to put on the parking brake to safely watch the movie. If the unit was professionally installed, it may be that the installer connected the wire and you just need to apply the parking brake. If the installer may have not connected the brake, the wire must be connected before the unit will allow you to watch videos, this is a safety feature required by law.
I have in-dash gps. I connected the camera's power to the Reverse light (wire) also. It works fine, but not sure if that's the ideal set up.
Where do you guys usually run the wire coming from the in-dash camera to the back? Like the Blue wire (reverse). I installed it under the carpet of the car, and it touches the body of the car. Is that safe? Or should I use a heavy duty wire?
Could you plez tell me how to play Divx movie thro' dvd or USB... Hav been banging my head burned it on the dvd, got it on the flash drive but the Head Unit jus wont read it ... Please help ... Thanx in advance
Hey. Can you hook up a portable hard drive, load it with about 40 gigs of music and make a video of how fast it navigates and plays the music? Thats what i'm planning to do in my car. Thanks

@suryamoorthi Both this unit, the DNX7140, and the newer model, the DNX7180, will allow you to stream audio from your cell phone via Bluetooth.
