They were truly amazing days. Sadly todays music doesn't sound the same any more. Is this a sign that most of us who remember the station are getting old.

Hell I even miss the hetrodyne whistle and the signal fading and always when you favourite track was playing.

Great memories. I remember listening to the US Top 20 on 208 with Bob Stewart in 1973-74. Emperor Rosko was also a time hosting "Minimax" on the French RTL.

On mediumwave 1439 (1440 from 1978) they started 18.00 UK time, after programme in dutch. A nice compilation, thx for that and give us more!

I used to listen on 49.26m(6090kHz) Shortwave in the UK(same frequency that put out radio luxembourg to international worldwide listeners).
