  • I would've made a photo finish related quote but i see it's been done several times already.

  • FLOOTERSHAI!

  • Anna Wintour is the queen and you will all deal.

  • She's amazingly ambitious and professional, let's give her that. Pity, though, that she's in an industry that thrives by making women feel like they need to buy useless, pretty shit just to feel adequate.

  • Lol I love Meryl Streep.

  • FLOOTERSHAI

IT IS TIME TO MAKE DE MAGICKS!

  • I LOVE YOU Anna, you are scary, but a real inspiration to me.

  • photo finish!

  • I want to be her soooooo bad I would kill for this job!

  • Photo Finish...is real o.o

  • This bitch needs a taste of reality; disrespectful at AIDS benefits, not speaking to certain employees? She's clearly lived a sheltered and distant life, somebody should've physically kicked her ass years ago.

  • I love this woman.

  • ANNA IS ANOREKSIC BITCH

  • EVEN HER SHNESHSHSESH ARE GRHATEFULL

  • I love how more than half the comments on this are Pony-based XD

    Keep up the good work!

  • never seen an interview of this woman, but i can tell shes full of hatred! but i respect that ! you cant run an impire without being implacable!

  • I Love you Photo Finish...

  • i love it when joan rivers roasts anna

  • i see 56 ppl have no style or sense of fashion on here!

  • Sometimes she looks great, and then sometimes she looks terrible. I sometimes wonder what she was thinking when she showed up to a function wearing some of those things.

  • THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

  • She is a witch full of hatred. Dont think Bob Marley wouldv'e ever touched that piece of sub-human filth.

  • Photo Finish lololol

  • Love Anna Wintour !

  • Congratulations, Anna you're now a pony.

  • ABSOLUTELY AND TOTALLY RI-DI-CU-LOUS!

    please! LOL

  • I love Anna

  • Somebody should ask her if she did date Bob Marley for a week. The story goes, she was madly attracted to Bob as they were first introduced...as a result she disappeared with him for a whole week. Rastaman vibration!!

  • Interesting woman. I don't think she seems so horrible; just reserved and direct. I prefer that type of personality to the flighty, bobble-head persona that many women think is so cute....

  • @Genesislinx EXACTLY!!!

  • people like anna wintour should be boycotted, stop buying vogue and all those obnoxious magazines that bombard women with unrealistic views of how women should look, is it any wonder that anorexia and women insecurities and hatred of their bodies are on the increase.

  • omgg she is so amazing,i really worship her and what she does1

  • ... Well Hello There, Photo Finish

  • .. Well Hello There, Photo Finish (from My Little Pony)

  • "So if I were really smart and I looked at Vogue, I would be able to tell what the mood of the country was."

    "I think so............... I GO."

  • My little pony references everywhere in the comments???

    ...ME GUSTA

  • Both of you girls are a turn-on to the American geek.( 16 to 60 years of age ) No matter what both of you achieve, men will always adore you.

  • She makes...de magickz!

  • She makes...de magickz!

  • I'd actually like to be like her one day but I'm too nice, she's someone people should look up to instead of spreading rumors and creating this persona, you can't make Vogue without stepping on some people's toes. And being unavailable is actually great, people wanna know more about her because she's not overexposed, nowadays most people expose their everyday life, on the internet, while talking to people... that's not very clever.

  • Barbara Walters is so agitating.

Ughhh, go retire already. I loathe her accent and pedestrian voice. She is condescending here as usual. She knows how to suck up to people she wants to benefit from though, like Bloomberg.

  • She looks like she has been dealing with stuck up spoiled rich bratty girls her whole life

  • she's a bitch.

  • waste

  • I GO.

  • she is great a true professional ,polite,hard-worker,she is so forward.A true inspiration that women can make it.

  • I PHOTO FINISH, HER AT WISE!

  • being in charge of the top magazine in the US is prob. very hard! you have to be at least a little bosy to make the magazine great otherwise it wouldnt be great...also if the magazine goes down she could lose her job to another person since she took the job of the former editor and chief before her...prob very hard to be in that industry but i want to work there so i prob. should get used to it :)

  • we expect...we don´t dictate...what?

  • @sdconc as in, they don't have to tell it to you/yell it in your face/spell it out/dictate, that you have to be stylish, and not wear jeans, sneakers, etc. It is 'expected' that you know what is appropriate; it is 'expected' that you have great fashion knowledge before you go looking for a job there. thats wat she means.

  • barack obama on mens vogue!!

  • she maybe be could to you people but you should know she needs to stay on top of her game, she been doing this for so long because she knows how the fuck shit works on fashion , she is not a bitch she just doing her job and in real life If you don't demand respect people walk over you or try to get your job .

  • @horatiosiul AMEN

  • its Photo Finish!

  • it's not easy darling!

  • I GO!

  • i think it is scary to know a person who is known to be icy cold n harsh to appear so genial here,...............its like a sociopath.

  • Fugly old bitch.

  • She so purdy.

  • I admire Anna Wintour because of her standing up to the Peta-animalist freaks. However, I can't help but notice how unfashionable her office is. It reminds me of the cold, drab building I worked in, in New York. But I wasn't the boss and couldn't change it. Anna, you have good taste and fashion flair...do something with that office!

  • I f*cking love Anna Wintour. I have so much respect for her, she's so sweet and intelligent and so powerful! she's so mysterious too. I just f*cking love her :)

  • FLOOTERSHI!

  • @TheRaider310 She has... DA MAJIKS!

  • Flootershai needs more blush.

  • OMFG!

    ITS PHOTO FINISH!

  • DA MAJIKS

  • I love fashion!

  • cut yo wig anna its about time #realtalk

  • Anna seems to be a very nice person in this interview. I think the people judge her without even knowing who she really is. By the way: I didn't know that she is British

  • Anna is God.

  • Anna Wintour looks great and I admire her wearing fur, too. But her office looks unviting and not a work of art.

  • @faffibo Bill Gates is known for being very mean and harsh at his workplace, just that it's not commonly known to everyone. Watch Paul Allen's interview on him and you'll see what I mean.

  • I want her to be my mom so I dont have to pick clothes anymore

  • @faffibo Good point.

  • The qualities that make businesswomen great at their jobs also are the reasons why their marriages break up.

  • she seems so vulnerable and weak. She better be glad no one slaps the taste out her mouth.

    I'd but fuck her though.

  • You know, in fashion You have to be bitch if you wanna be SOMEONE.

Anna Wintour is, without any doubts, SOMEONE.

You don´t have to love her, but You , But you can not deny that what she did, forever recorded in history.

  • love love love her hair... so beautifull love her colour...very stern though

  • FucK Y !

try to combine war and fashion??

    so ignorant!

people in fashion iiz think JUST ABOUT THEMSELF

    FUCK OFF!

  • She is amazing. Smart, passionate, confident, fair. Love to meet her one day.

  • She dropped the scholl at 16? Well, who needs school anyway? ;))

  • What a bitch

  • I love her simply because she loves my favorite model; Gisele Bundchen! and has given Gisele 13 US Vogue covers, woo hoo.

  • She may be a heartless bitch, but she's the most ambitious and professional woman ever.

  • I love her so much She should marry me because lets face it : Everyone needs free shit.

  • @aquaalloy - sorry, but she's marrying my cousin.

  • dumb whore

  • Barbara Walters is last.

  • Anna Wintour please adopt me!

  • she's pretty creepy and crazy and sort of disrespectful but hilarious, and meryl streep is hilarious as her... but this woman has no respect for feelings, she once turned down a photographer's work ordered for her editorial saying:" why he must have made a mistake, there must be more pictures, none of these are right..." she's just an incredibly hard ass woman

  • @flippadeal well think of it in another way: Vogue has a certain standard that they must keep up, they can't put any picture on the pages of vogue. So don't you think it was very disrespectful of the photog to think he can just take whatever pictures he wanted for vogue and get away with it? Photographing editorials for Vogue is the big time for any photog, it can make a photog's career look at Demarchlier.

  • I used to think she was a bitch, then I actually tried to find out about her and I think she's just rather shy, and even if she is direct at least she's one of the few people in fashion, or any other field, that's being genuine about what they think.

  • @xdessimatemex I think is never easy for a woman to make it to the top of the corporate world, even in this case when the corporate world is fashion. The owners are almost always men.

Therefore, from the beginning she had to be very smart, decisive and hardworking. She had to exceed expectation, be tough, creative and never show too much emotion.

It is a tough world for women to want to make it to the top.

  • @md991free You know, she does seem nice with a sense of humor and a kind of passion for what she does. Her professional side may be cold or even brutal but it belongs in the world she works in. I'm not one for fashion but I did enjoy the book and movie 'Devil Wears Prada' and it inspired me to look into the supposed real life Miranda. Not what I expected. Of course, I don't work for her so it's easy for me to say that.

  • @PandoraKyss I really enjoyed the movie too, the character was played flawlessly by the legendary M.S

I just hope the really Miranda is not as cold, calculated and Icy mean as the character portrayed in the movie. lol. That would be just too mean.

One can be smart, decisive, strong and capable without being nasty and mean.

  • @md991free exactly when men act the same way they are great businessmen, hard workers etc but if a woman does she's bitch....

women have to work 10 times harder to make it... they always have to prove themselves...she can't be to nice or it will be assumed that she can't make real decisions and if she's tough well she is a bitch...

  • I agree she's a very succesful and influential woman inher field (perhaps the best); as a human being, well...that's debatable to say the least. I value her contribution to fashion and even happen to like her style, BUT for such a stylish woman she has HORRIBLE posture! It's a shame for such a well dressed woman to slouch so much! As a result her outfits "hang" horribly on her, it's a disservice to the fab designer frocks she wears :( I'm curious if she has a back problem: does anybody know?

  • @cleo715 I even think SHE can pull the scoolgirl bob (The sunglasses *indoor* thing not so much: it was tacky yesterday, it's tacky today, it'll look tacky *forever*). But I just want to pull her shoulders back and her neck up (like my mom used to do to me). Proper carriage projects elegance! Look at Carolina Herrera for example: what an AMAZING posture and carriage! She'd look chic and classy even if she was wearing a burlap sack (fat chance that that would ever happen, but you get the point)

  • If it werent for her nose job(s), shed be 5x prettier

  • Shes got the face of a giraffe, but she's got the sexiest goddamn fucking hairstyle ever freakin made, and for that alone she gets me so rock hard she makes me scum in my shorts

  • Anna is so chic! I love fashionable women like her who use fashion to make themselves so beautiful!

  • I don't get why people think she's a bitch. I think she's totally awesome!

Yes, her comments might sometimes come us rude, but they are her perspectives, and sometimes, she does have a point.

What's the problem with demanding employees to dress fashionably? It's equivalent to requiring employees to dress in suits and ties to work in an office.

I think Devil Wears Prada over-exaggerated her character a bit. She doesn't seem as cold as Miranda.

Besides, bitches get things DONE! Look at Vogue!

  • @UnpracticalEmo I LOVE THAT SHE'S A BITCH!

I love beautiful, successful, fashionable, stuck-up, bitchy women!

I'd love to work for her! She could bitch at me as much as she wants!

  • It's always fascinating to see those mired in permanent adolescence, as more and more people are. Such is the Brave New World.

  • Anna is a classic Scorpio!!! You either love or hate us Scorpios, baby!

  • Anna actually seems nice, she's polite, she smiles and she's honest. Just because she puts up a front for the paparazzi and seems to look moody all the time doesnt change anything, she's nice and thats it.

And so what is she's ''difficult' to work with, if you were Editor of US Vogue..wouldn't you be?

  • @gabbydadiva i have to agree. she seems icy with her shades on and facial expressions at the runway sows, but the woman is just busy doing her job, and who wouldn't seem stressed with the incredibly huge responsibilities that she's got?

  • @gabbydadiva manners are fashionable sometimes :)

  • "And yes, if she were a MAN, she wouldn't be called a 'bitch'. She'd be doing her job", and "but if she was a man, no-one would be calling her a bitch, everyone would be praising 'him' for his business acumen and decisiveness". NO. If a man is as "decisive", or is "doing his job" to the extent you two are talking about , he would be called a d*ck, or an a-hole. I'm sorry, but belittling is never acceptable.

  • Pause at 0:48 0 the office is like IDENTICAL to the Devil Wears Prada one.

I would like to test this woman by just mocking her to her face, just to see what'd happen to me.

  • @impamiizgraa I seen that in the 'September Issue' Trailer. Looks exacly like hers. The whole set up.

  • asian bridals here # lushfmlk.info #

  • Fashion has about as much importance in society as that jelly they put in canned hams. Seriously, who the f**k are we kidding here? Your local gas station attendant wo keeps that stations toilet clean does more for people than any of this shit. Fashion is just another BS industry invented by schmucks to have an excuse to leech off the hard work of other people.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain Sorry, James but the impact fashion has on culture and the world in general are immense not mentioning the fact that this billions-generating industry gives employment opportunities to numerous pattern-makers, sewers, drapers, editors and journalists, fabric developers, trim makers, shoe developers and even shoe repairers, make up artists and stylists, sales people and publicists and many more. You do not walk around naked, do you?

  • If Anna's hair was black... She'd look 10 xs younger, and it'd look way better!!!

  • Those types of fashionistas make me want to gag. It's all about labels and money, not "art that you wear." Wintour has an air of unwarranted self importance and she is expendable. And Vogue fucking SUCKS.

  • you can't wear jeans to work anyway

  • 03:27 And because of the Police state increasing

  • An old hag, way past her sell by date.

  • The rural juror

  • Don't hate, just because she has tons of power, has major influence on pretty much every fashion trend being set and has tons of money, classy and looking like that at 57? Yeah, successful! She is probably mean a bitch or whatever, that's fashion. If you wanna be haute, don't necessarily starve or be bulimic, but just head to the gym.

  • this slut once fucked bob marley. running her fingers through his unwashed greasy dreadlocks, now how's that for being fashionable.

  • I respect a lot this woman. She's a tough.

  • afrojazz25 and bow2meopunymortals you are both so right. I admire Anna.

  • She's lived in the US for so long and still has the British accent... ;O

  • You cannot tell a country´s mood by a fashion magazine. You can tell the designers´ mood, and their estimation of what people might want to see. Apparently , I hear here, they are glad to pick up ideas from politics. A country consists of many people, who don´t care abou fashion magazines, don´t care whatsoever about their bosses. I wonder why I even know her name and why she says: " There was a strong sense that the women on the catwalk were going inro battle".

  • Exactly! The fashion industry is so competitive that you have to be the way she is. The American Vogue is bringing fortune because she works to perfection. Donald Trump owns the company and she works for Vogue. There are many ready to replace her so they are waiting for a mistake.

She has to always look good, act smart, use her knowledge and give 180% because if she doesn't, she knows that in fashion, one day you're in and the next day you're out.

I would love to work for her!

  • I'm siding with Kathy Griffin on this one... she's a 'big cunt'

  • As much as people say that she's a bitch and as much as I see how cold she can be, I deeply admire how she carries herself professionally. What she said about how fashion reflects the mood of the nation is very well spoken. Just how we represent ourselves through our clothes and hairstyles, our nation does the same as a whole. Look at any part of history, especially 1700s France and Marie Antoinette's fashion choices, and you'll see how fashion reflects on the people.

  • ..she is known as ' nuclear Wintour..."

  • Anyone who defends this woman is a fucking retard. She's sitting there, with a straight face, saying the models "look like they're going into battle" and how the fashion lines are inspired by Iraq. That sounds like a line from Zoolander, for fuck's sake.

As others have said, Anna Wintour is one of the major reasons why so many women have anorexia and terrible body image issues, and she is universally considered a cunt by everyone who knows her. "Inspiration" or "icon" my ass.

  • @GozerTheGozerian You're incredibly ignorant and jaded if you think the only reason people get eating disorders is because they see a skinny girl in a magazine. What makes her such a cunt? The fact that she is a woman and has the "work ethic", drive, and discipline of a man?

  • @rvggarcon Actually, I said she was "one of the many reasons" women have body image problems, not "the only reason."

Listen to how she compares models to soldiers in Iraq, and then tell me if those are not the words of a vapid, gnarled, grotesque cunt who represents the worst of our greedy, shallow, materialistic society.

  • She is SUCH an inspiration!

  • I just saw a movie about her. I forgot what it was called but it was a documentary that followed her around her job and daily life. It was so funny. The entire fashion world treats her like she's the only one who knows what is beautiful, and she always gets the final word. She has everyone eating out of her hand. She's a smart woman.

  • @samus1818 the name of the documentary is "The September Issue". lovvved it.

  • @elloren1228

I bet she has a labia that drags on the sidewalk. some chicks just look like they have big labia and she's one of them. I'd bone her but she might break a hip from my powerful thrust.

  • She doesn't sound at all like a bitch in this interview. She seems fine.

  • I won't put Diddy in her league Ana has been around a long time and on top of the fashion world. Diddy cant even keep a band together or a top single.

  • Grace Coddington should be editor in chief. Not this bitch.

  • whoreeee

  • the world's greatest contributor to anorexia

  • for all u haters saying shes a "bitch" shes not and dont go saying shes the most "evil person in fashion" bcas the fashion industry is cut throat and tough and if u have a problem w/ tht then dont get in2 it.....cas it is wat it is srry.......and yes any successful icon is hard 2 work 4

  • How OLD...HOW OLD IS babwa..walter bet this will not post on this old hag

  • b wawa is a whore and has said so since her corrupt carreer..on her back legs spread wide..by her own word;s she is a whore..in many articles of the MEDIA...barbra walters is just a cheap whore bet youtube will NOT POST this..

  • @TheatreWhore no that's A.D.A Alex Cabot, the actress is bobby flays wife.

  • Andre on ANTM as a judge..haha!!!!

  • Bitch or not, i could care less, she is in the world of fashion and its pretty much a given. However, i will never see why people are into her so much when American Vogue is shit compared to the Italian one. Not even close.....In my own opinion...

  • mirandas only based on anna becuase she knows what she wants and she knows she will get it. also mirandas not horrible she also knows what she wants and doesnt take excuses to not get it also it doesnt "uglify" in cinema meryl streep did it becuase most powerful people dont shout but can raise an eyebrows and scare you, she also based the hair and stuff on her friend the previous editor of harpers bassar so no not really.

  • i admire this woman!

came to America at age 25

    and look.

    she earn everything herself.

unlike other dumb bitchest like paris hilton or nicole richie

  • @jangkimtyler Haha herself yeah, he father had a mediatic empire. She was handed everything. Who does she think she is. I don't understand this deity treatment she gets. She's so uptight, posh, snob, she thinks she has style, well she dresses horribly. She just happens to be powerful and running a magzine so all bitches go and lick her ass

  • @frodo322

    lol hahahahahaha

    agree agree

she does dress horribly and her hair just bugs me so much

    but really?

    her father helped her?

  • @frodo322 yeah sure...her dad "handed" her 2 b one of the most successful women in the fashion industry yh...sure and shes not snobby shes tough and the majority of the fashion industry is cut throat so get off her back about it cas tons of ppl in the fashion industry r like tht

  • anna wintour looks much lovelier and much more feminine than the movie's misogynsit dragon lady uglification...wintour is much more attractive with a certain degree of sex appeal...gee, cinema does uglify self-assured business woman!

  • @GustaveKwak It's not a Specific Depiction of her, "Miranda" is BASED off of her, and The Fashion Industry.

  • seems like a brilliant woman!

  • She left school at 16 just goes to show education isnt always everything i bet she make more money than people with regular degrees.

  • if i may be so indelicate-- I would like to give Anna a good rogering

  • a woman to be admired and learned from, not put down.

  • Elect her president.

  • @MrGoblinCock WTF???

  • i love this dame ,she is such ....AMAZING

  • i love anna wintour.

  • I love Anna, she is strong and independent woman... Love her so much, but she scares me somehow...
