  • fucking pussy who needs a towel on there shoulder not to get hurt. i think the perfect gun for you would be a .22 short

  • it's Lee-Enfield bolt action rifle

  • I got a number 4 mk 2 for free last year, love the rifle

  • @stew1212128

In america you get get them for like two hundred dollars! super cheap for a gun!

  • Lord I with I could own a .303 Lee Enfield No4 Mk 1 or No1 Mk 3, sadly there hard to come by in the UK and When I do see one go for sale there so expensive, perhaps one day...

  • @stew1212128

Join the Lee Enfield club. You can share a rifle - joint ownership, so along as the owners are not shooting on the same day its fine. And if you are then you can share it around. Also they can obtain the rifles fairly easily.

TBH if a manufacturer stated making these again... they make a fortune.

  • You suck! And you can't even hold your gun steady!

  • lol my dad has the real model for this it was made in 1915

  • the guy shooting is waving all over! be surprised if he could hit a barn door...lol

  • Weebles wobble, but don't fall down,,,

  • are you evan holding the rifle properly? it shouldnt have that much kick

  • Awful marksmanship. Awful stance. Awful shooting.

  • @04odavid ok expert, no need to be a dick.....

  • @04odavid It is a shame people cant go have a good time without some stuipid prick's smart @ss comments.

  • god I love that gun

  • i have one but some idiot cut the wood down to look like modern rifles. but its still an awsome gun

  • I have a 1942 lee-enfield. Completely original, serial number on the clip was the original issued with the weapon. best damn rifle I ever bought. Shoots like new,

  • if you're bothered about the shitty pakistani ammo, try getting one which has been converted to NATO 7.62!!

  • is that a mk2 #4 what model because the mk2 #4 has no recoil a 4 yr old can shoot it! and stop being a afraid of the gun thats why the reason he is all over the place! and your right it is heavy thats why there is no recoil your just not planted right!

  • your shakeing allover the place

  • 3rd person view has been engaged

  • The first rifle that I fired was a .300 Lee Enfield .After a few wild shots, with a bit of coaching I was hitting the target some 300 yards away. The guy is using a towel, as these rifles have a kick like a mule. We after WW2 the British Army was still using the .303 as a Snipers Rifle.

  • @bridgetown45 Yea dude the recoil is intense on .303's, It's pretty much the same as a 30-06. I fired 20 rounds for the first time with my .303 today and I got a massive bruise on my shoulder :P

  • can you get military surplus ammo for this rifle?

  • @A1voisin yes but most of the milsurp ammo is from pakistan these days and it is of poor quality. Lots of hang fires with the stuff.

  • @Jrhoney I usually use that shit for my SKS which uses 7.62 x 39, Its fairly good ammunition but its highly corrosive so you gotta clean your gun afterwords.

  • Fuckin nancy boy shooting with a towl on your arm! And no there not that heavy.

  • Nice gun. I love the .303 enfields. powerful and with a good kick. i might ad that you will be far more accurate with the gun if you lay your cheek against the butt stock wile aiming and shooting. Squeeze trigger slowly, don't "pull" back with your finger. good video!

  • What a pussy, he had a towle on his shoulder..ahahaha..looser!!

  • Its the lee enfield you yankie fook you dont deserve to have such a quality rifle, your aim sucks balls you noob

  • @Froggatt Lets see you do better :) believe it or not, some people just enjoy shooting, it doesn't always have to be about accuracy. Although, with .303 going for 30 bucks every 20 rounds, I wouldn't easily use it without trying to get the most out've it, but thats just me :)

  • @Sev89 i can only real english men can handle these weopons

  • @Froggatt Umm, actually no. Anybody who knows how to accurately shoot can handle this weapon, or any other. Being english has nothing to do with it :D

  • bad aim

  • those rounds are fucking expensive

  • you think those are expensive. try pricing some 7.65 x 53 for a Mauser Argentino. bout $120 for 20 rds through cheaper than dirt. good to hunt with though. just don't want to do too much target practice.

  • lmao "this things fuckin heavy" XD

  • A great rifle. I have Savages, Winchesters and many are not as fun as Enfields.

  • fuckin good gun

  • I just got my first 303 british today, and im only 12

  • im 12 years old and what is this?

  • @err0neous i was 11 and i could handle it and if your 12 then u can for sure handle it

  • @err0neous kidsoldier....

  • @err0neous Im 11 and i can shoot 180 grain .303's and it dosen't kick at all to me. And mine has a BRASS BUTTSTOCK!

  • @Thelonesniper101 Fuck off it doesnt. Don't try and look tough, its great that you can shoot it but it kicks for anyone.

  • @soul111smasher Seriously man it does not kick me i don't lie but im not trying 2 brag so lets not start one of those pointless youtube areguements ok?

  • @Thelonesniper101 Well unless you've found a way to get around newtons 3rd law of physics, it kicks. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

  • @soul111smasher it doensnt evan kick.. do you own one?.. i do.. i have a 1919 ligthgow lee enfield no1 mk3.. if you shoulder it wrong then it will kick like a cunt.. but otherwise.. go fire one for ya self instead of think ing you know everything about rifles

  • @HavocProductions1943 What did you not understand about my last comment? Do you want me to say it slower? It. Is. Physics. I don't give a shit what you think you know, it's fucking impossible for there not to be recoil. Your body might be able to minimise it by holding it correctly, but it happens. I don't fucking think i know everying thing about guns, and apparantly you know fuck all about them and basic physics.

  • @soul111smasher physics,, pfft.. who cares about fucking physics.. all ya do is.. pick up the weapon! shoulder the fucker.. and pull the trigger!.. whos gonna care aabout.. physics?.. go pick up a weapon and fire the fucking thing!

  • @HavocProductions1943 I have fired a fucking weapon, not that it matters. Who cares about physics? Well im fucking using it to tell you now, i don't give a shit whether you THINK it recoils or not, it does. And we know that, thanks to, physics.

  • @soul111smasher well what weapon was that then ay?.. and it recoils?.. corse its gonna recoil.. DUHH! you should know that since you talk about "physics" allot?.. im just saying this particular rifle doenst kick as much as you think it does.. its only a .303 180 grain.. thats not much kick.. but its enough to blow apart a pig 85 meters away..

  • @HavocProductions1943 now your not even making fucking sense. Some kid said it didn't recoil, i said that was impossible. Then you chimed in and we argued about it, now your acting like you've said it does all along and i should have know that. What the fuck? What have i fired? Im not making a whole fucking list, alot of handguns the biggest being a .44 magnum and a 12 gauge.

  • @soul111smasher woh.. fucking congrats i dont give a shit. and if you actully read what ive said then it will make sence fucknugget!.. if fired.. 12gauge.. .303.. .303.. .300.. .222.. .223.. .410.. .5.56.. 9mm 45apc.. .50cal.. they all have recoil.. but they dont kick back!.. only if you shoulder them WRONG! which i have said u dumb fuk

  • @HavocProductions1943 I seriously don't understand how this is confusing you. Firearms. Will. Kick/Recoil. It doesn't matter how you hold/shoulder it, and i don't give a fuck what you've shot. I only said it because you asked. It's like arguing about whether or not a ball thrown into the air will fall down or not. It's not a matter of fucking opinion, IT. WIll. HAPPEN. Just like all firearms will recoil/kick. I am right, it is literally a scientific fucking fact. I'm done here.

  • @soul111smasher i know the will kick n recoil! ALL I SAID WAS I WONT IF YOU SHOLDER IT PROPERLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! fucking retard.. noone cares about science and shit. so dont be a smart cunt thinking you know everything about guns because u know sum shit on science?...

  • @HavocProductions1943 I can't stop when your so fucking pathetically stupid. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW YOU FUCKING SHOULDER IT, IT WONT STOP RECOIL. THAT IS FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE. Please tell me you understand that, i can't really use fewer words.

  • @soul111smasher it does matter.. if you actully go fire a rifle and sholder it properly you will see that it wont KICK as much!,,

  • @HavocProductions1943 I'm not joking at all anymore, please, please explain to me what part you do not understand? It is impossible to stop or reduce kick, no matter how you hold it. By impossible, i don't mean its really hard or you have to be really good, i mean that it cannot be done. By holding it correctly, you can minimise how much kick you FEEL, but you cannot actually make it kick less. That. Is. I.M.P.O.S.S.I.B.L.E. Again, i have fired 12 Ga. I know how to fucking shoulder a long gun.

  • @soul111smasher im not joking wither?... just calm ya farm mate! your getting a little angry! i can fire a full grain 12 gauge shotty and it will not push me back.. cause i SHOULDER IT PROPERLY!

  • @HavocProductions1943 Your so focused on that, your missing my point. It doesnt push me back either, because i should it properly. But that has NO FUCKING EFFECT on the recoil. It still happens even when you shoulder it properly, you body just handles it better. Fucking idiot.

  • @soul111smasher pickles

  • @soul111smasher YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN!.. just cause you havnt fired a rifle doents mean u need to get angry OK!

  • @HavocProductions1943 omfg, your so pathetic and slow...

  • @soul111smasher haha its funny cause you actully get angry over the internet? settle the fuk down cunt!

  • @err0neous It's a British 303 Bolt Action Rifle.

  • @angrykid1219 me too

  • @angrykid1219 i'm 13 and i own a lee enfield rifle and they have a "bark"

  • @angrykid1219 im 12 years old to and i dont have any real guns but when im older i bet you that i will get a .308 remington :)

  • @angrykid1219 Wow!! I'm 13 and I got my first gun when i was 12. I got a Mosin-Nagant, i REALLY want a Lee-Enfield right now O_O

  • @Dragunov1185 The moisan nagant is a very nice gun to shoot, and if you get the Enfield 303. british, I'll say, it aswell is a Very smooth shooting gun. And I still can't belive people comment on a comment i have had up for almost 2 years.

  • i love my lee enfield .303 jungle carbine it kicks but its so accurate

  • i use these to hunt

  • Does anyone know where you can buy a good, working WWII rifle? Such as the Kar98K or Lee Enfield Mk.4?

  • hey do u need a licence to have a british 303? because i baught one from a guy for like 300$ was it worth it?

  • depends where you live, im guessing Canada because if your American you dont need a license to own guns.

  • Yes, you do, you need licenses to own a gun.

  • @qwastic in what state?

  • In the entire country of the United States of America. Every single state.

  • @qwastic I own and transport 14 different caliber rifles and pistols to and from my local range here in PA with no problem. I have served my country in 2 wars and currently retired from the ATF. You do not need a License to own or fire a firearm other than some Pre-ban models, and those which propel incendiary or explosive munitions. If you need or choose to carry on your person, said weaponry with legitimate reason(decided by court, police sheriff,or federal entity) you need a license.

  • Does that have anything to do with the fact you served in the war? Because what I've been told, I needed a license to own and purchase any type of firearm. Except muskets and older, I have no idea about those.

  • Bought my last Marlin just 3 weeks back from cabella's storefront and had no problem. I don't think it has anything to do with me personally being a veteran. It's not like i walk around in fatigues or carry some badge that says "hey-look at me!" Check with your local police if you have any problems or clarification issues as they will have the most up to date regulations on hand. Good luck and happy shooting!

  • that's what i was getting too qwastic. You don't need a license to own a gun. Now, I have not been to every state in the US, but I am a police officer and have a pretty good knowledge of most of the gun laws. Some states require that you have a permit to purchase a gun if you are not a resident of that state i.e. military stationed in a state that is not there home of residence. You do, however, need a CCP (concealed carry permit) in most states to carry a pistol on your person.

  • Alright, thanks a lot guy.

  • @qwastic Certain firearms require them, mainly all things fully automatic if I'm not mistaken. For anything else be it semi-auto, bolt or lever action, you just need a clean bill of health and no criminal record

  • my uncle and grandpa have these...man are they fun to shoot

  • My dad has one...he hasn't used it ince like ohhh 89-93'...but the front wooden part of the barrel rotted so we cut it off and smoothed it out..looks liek the Australian verzion.....we jus need ammo

  • So whats the better calibre between 30-06, 303 and 7.92 x 57. If any what would YOU prefere to use. Secondly (dont take calibre prefrence into it) what rifle is better? K98, Lee Enfield (either No 4 or No 1 MKIII) or the springfield/garrand. Be cool to know what people prefere.

  • did you get any replies to this? I'm keen to know myself.

  • K98 is better than all of them, its the most accurate. Garand is better but kicks like a mule.

  • I own a Pattern 1914, it surprises the crap out of people with how accurate it is for its age, i like it alot better than my mk.4

  • nice rifle

my dad has one of dem, real nice and fun to shoot

  • ma come cazzo lo teni il fucile andicappato

  • man.. watch the tip of the barrel.. hes so shaky.. nice couple of shots though! and a beauty rifle!

  • yea imagine letting a young kid hold one, just like they did in ww1. musn't of been easy

  • Its a heavy ass rifle, damn near 11 lbs with all that wood.

  • Its not that heavy, im holding one right now.

  • where did you shoot that? i shoot the exact same gun in what looks like the exact same place lol

  • i think the closest comparison is 8mm to 30-06 then comes in the enfield i own all three all are original except the 8mm its been shortened and lightened so its got some kick in it

  • beast from the british i have 1 n kick on it is heavy

  • No1 MkIII isnt it? Very nice!

  • i own a Globe Firearms British .303, and have never had the opportunity to fire it yet. I am hoping that i can take it, sight it in, and perhaps take it hunting.

  • i've got run samn things are heavy dude but they can shoot and kill and make big holes ok damnit i gotta go shooting this weekend thanks make me waste my gas and ammo damnit

  • Very fun rifle to shoot

  • what is a 303 british compared to?????????

  • it's in a very similar catigory as a .3006

  • loving the enfield, you'll do better if you shoot with the rifle more accross your boby stabding more side on to the target instead of face on.

  • i wish we had your gun laws in the uk, id love to fire a enfield.

  • eh? you can you just need a valid firearms certificate!

  • i got a 303 british fun gun to shoot

  • my grandpa has one of these. i shoot racoons with it

  • Is there ever anything left of them afterward?

  • good kick the 303 has, good sniper rifle with or without the scope..if u know what ur doing..but i do love that kick!!!UGH!

  • no. 1 mk3?

  • over one hundrend years old and can still out shoot all other 30 cals!

  • Put down the crack pipe, step away slowly!

  • awsome gun when i turn 18 thats what i'm going to buy

  • the rifle of the british empire

  • Lol, a lil shaky eh

  • nice gun, good shootin' , but lol... u use a shoulder pad!

  • haha it doesnt even have that much recoil! The .303 British is the first gun i ever shot, and i nailed every target first try :p

  • lol mee 2 the 303 was my first high powered rifle.

  • BULLSHIT

  • y bull shit, i dont own 1 but it was the first hi powered rifle i shot...

  • i love this gun on call of duty 3

  • The .303 Lee-Enfield has got to be my favorite rifle ever

  • Git r dun! You gotta love the brits and the hell they can raise with those things. I woud hate to be athe the business end of one of those.

  • @303britishrocks why its by far the most pointless weapon for modern times unless u decided to use it as a designated marker for long distance, it's abusive, slow reload, and the ammo isnt common, good gun yes, useful in alot of situations no.

  • Now try fifteen rounds, rapid. The British Army at the start of WW1 used that - also known as the Mad Minute. It laid down a rate of fire that no attacking army could stand up against.

  • Actually 30/minute from a good rifleman...

  • Actually according to the worlds best guns on the military history channel they said a basic rifleman could do 30, most could do better then 30.

  • I'm so sorry, but you are a bad shooter!

  • agree

  • agreed and what is with the towel. what does this guy put on football pads to shoot a .300 win mag

  • He said at the end a reason that he was swaying so much. This rifle isn't made of syth stock... it's freakin heavy.

  • please, lol, I have smaller arms than that guy and I don't sway at all with my Heavier Lee-Enfield no.4 MK1*, sure its 9- 9-1/2lbs but its not that fucking bad, he just isn't a good fucking shot!

  • lol hes got a towel on his shoulder for the recoil he should try shooting an m44 or a turkish mauser 38/46 short rifle with turkish ammo its really not that heavy of a rifle at 150 yds i can put a full magazine on target standing hes missing at 40 feet, good coment GordanFan

  • Canadian in ww1 ww2 used this

  • why you swaying so much?

  • did u kno chinago police (hope i spelt that right) used the 303 mk2 as a snipers rifle bk in the 70's

  • Yeah, looks like he's afraid of the recoil, he's not even resting his head on the stock.

  • well ur really not ment to in target shooting as it decreases ur accuracy. jus thought i would say. ps the reciol on a 303 is really heavy and the iron butt doesnt help either.

  • The butt plate on the SMLE is made of brass.

  • yh sorri brass i should know that lol am lookin right at it.

  • the recoil is NOT heavy its less than a .308 Win or 7.62mm NATO. It kicks with about 13lb at the shoulder and the BRASS butt plate is well rounded and if you know how to shoot its just as nice to use as any sporter.

  • he is a PUSSY he cant handle the recoil of it man i can shoot it at my hip and handle it

  • well arnt you the big brave man

  • yeah dick head i am

  • I love my Lithgow Number 1 Mk 3, its still accurate enough to knock over 475m turkeys from the sitting position, all stock standard using handloaded ammo to duplicate Mk7 ammo. This guy was a very average shot probally not used to open sights.

  • oh yeah try toppin 250yds+ open field towards a nice 5x5 weighing in at 210 (allthough it was about 8 hail marys b4 dropping him)

  • how about a 200m running shot on a goat?

  • I'd hardly call a SMLE a heavy rifle, any rifle will be between 6-11Lbs; it's got to survive a war zone remember! I wonder if any of the boys in Afghanistan will be able to bring 1 back, they make them by hand!

  • "This bitch is heavy"

    LOL!

Try a Eddystone Enfield Model 1917 in 30-06.

I'm no expert. But it looks like you need some practice.

That .303 is a nice rifle to work with. It will serve you well.

  • well he is standing with a hevy rifle so try and take that in to consideration

  • Pfft, that means bugger all. Use the sling when standing, considering your natural point of aim and you should be able to nock over man-sized targets at 200 meters quite easily.

  • hes not using a sling though and those arnt man sized targets i know they arnt all that far but its still a hevy rifle and he may not be a experienced shooter

  • I dont want to be a dick, but if you are going to post a video for everyone to see i would think that you would be a much better shot.

  • i think its his first time with that rifle

  • yeah i guess so and i cant shoot from the hip ive only shoot once but its a lite kick

  • its a 303 not freaking .22

  • I love my 303 just haven't had much time to get out and use it. I think that for my next rifle i'd like to get a WASR-10 or 2... is there a 2? I'd also like to get another 303 and cut it down make a hand gun out of it... (have to pay extra tax to make it ligit to own)

  • I have 2 a 1917 SMLE and a 1944 No.4

  • i love the british .303s

  • Is the British 303 rifle banned all over the world? A place that have heaps of them is the SOLOMON ISLAND.

  • no its not i have 1 myself

  • how do you ban something all over the world... they cant even do that with land mines, let alone 303's lol

  • they banned the .303 in some countries?
