Może przesadziłem z tą Astrą bo się spodziewałem naprawde, że ta SMG zrobi jakiś szał ale sądzę, że już od 130km/h bym tą mega bemkę szukał we wstecznym lusterku moją padaczkowatą Corsą :);) 12s idzie to smg 110-200 - mi Corsa idzie 100-200 w 7.5s = kolejny by się zdziwił :D

My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325 weekends. 328i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in under half hour. HP increase on the E46 is about 13.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $17 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other application data:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

to get the V max you need a race licence and bmw opem the car V MAX

Use a radar and not the speedo sir. True vmax for standard unmodified M3 is 270 km/h for E46 including the CSL and 290-ish for E92. Speedo for E92 recorded over 330km/h.........onboard speedometers are very inaccurate at high speeds. I have test lots of cars and most record 120 km/h when true speed is about 112-116 km/h. The difference widens as speed increases. Change tire size too and speedo will completely be screwed......

Just for your information:

1/ England uses MPH. Canada uses km/h.

2/ Only 2/3 of the autobahn has no speed limit. The 1/3 left is limited to 130km/h. of the autobahn.

Yes, I've been on the autobahn. Please go and check by yourself: most people driving 250km/h on the autobahn do it carefully, avoiding any source of distraction.

Remember: it's not always the thing you do but the WAY you do it that is dangerous.

Yes you can tell them not to call you, or turn the phone off or whatever is the best solution to you.

About the tank, it does not help with stability (since it's liquid).

And to be very honest, no I'm not jealous; yes I'd love to get an M3, of course, but I know I'm not good enough to use that kind of car to its full potential. I'm very happy with my car, and when I get some serious skills I'll see if I need/want to replace it.

but speedometer indicated 270km/h, has a huge error in the speedometer, if you remove the limiter the E46 M3 have much more top speed than 270km/h ... that is why when engage 6 gear not increase the speed ... is the limiter to act

Actually you're right that there is always a difference between the speedo indication and the actual speed. That is why speed records are checked using GPS.

I've noticed in my car that if you enter the OBC test mode, unlock all functions and then go to the function 7.3 which is the speed indicator you get a number a bit lower than on the speedo. The gap increases along with speed. Maybe it is the real speed?

Cannot test 270km/h tho, my 328i "only" reaches 240 (that I didn't test yet).
