Woow, Grzegorz, what a wonderful post you have done! Shilkret is one of my favorites and this lovely music with Spanish magazine covers makes a beautiful piece. By the way, the revival of this song in the forties happened because Deanna Durbin sang it in Spanish in the movie "First Love" (1939). Maybe the reason of that choice was that her vocal coach was the former opera star Andres de Segurola
