I accidentaly taped maximo park live at the end of my hip hop tape, and it used 2 come on when i was listening 2 rap music, i used 2 say whats this Pifffff! n turn it off, but sometimes i couldent be bothered 2 get up n turn it off so i let it play, haha these songs are so catchy, eventually i used 2 fast forward the rap music and just listern 2 maximo park.

no, no, dumb shit. i said Interpol's LYRICS don't make much sense at all. Paul Banks even said his lyrics are based on free association, meaning he literally writes just whatever is at the top of his head at the exact moment. don't put words in my mouth, if i thought Interpol sucked, i wouldn't have seen them in concert like 4 times and gotten lucky enough to meet them TWICE.

as for Dashboard Confessional, their lyrics ARE clearly intelligent and overlooked. look, GUY, u don't have to be a pussy or be totally "EMO" to realize that. you should just be at least somewhat bright as the lyricist/vocalist is for that group and give these artists a chance. go on, read and pay ATTENTION to their lyrics and a lot of their songs ARE actually quite good. but obviously, i'm dealing with a common idiot who's just too one dimensional about music and lyrics, it's painful to debate.

This is a tragic Song, Paul the singer was writing music at a pub and witnessed a woman get hit by a bus and was killed, hence the bus theme, but it's a very emotionally written song.

The bus trip, obviously some sort of drunken wedding trip perhaps, what I think the meaning is, is its deeper than the actual things we see, its to think about what we do before we do it, well before we do it, notice the events in the video seem to esculate, its about thinking about what you are gonna do, in the end of the video actions people have taken have resulted in differing outcomes
