  • in other words if you follow a single gym's programming, or the mainsite, consistently and in its entirety, you will get "your" best body. Which by the sounds of it will be a freaking machine at 6'2" and 235. You might find you drop to like 225 but you will get stronger and increase in lean muscle and drop body fat %.

  • @badasslaxman23: CrossFit is performance over body composition. The idea is to constantly vary the workouts not stick to specific ones, and the body composition is a byproduct and is different for each individual in terms of having the body that allows them to perform their best across all domains of fitness. So for most CrossFitters it's about being whatever weight that allows them to achieve their best balance between strength and metabolic conditioning (or the 10 physical skills.).

  • I'm new to crossfit, and I want to keep my big boy stature. I'm 6'2" 235 and a cross between athletic and heavy build. I'm looking to get cut up, but keep my weight. are there any specific crossfit workouts I should stick to?
