  • I could only watch for 3 seconds. Obama sign's in the yard. Had to turn it off or I would have puked.

    But the shoot going up the pole in that picture looks REALY full. Probably the only thing that stopped me from throwing up over the Obama signs.

    I am a Michigan brewer/hop grower also. I am in Traverse City and the soil here is so nice for growing. My second years are doing well.

  • The great thing about homebrewing is that people from allllllllllllll types of backgrounds come together to share a common passion. Typically, politics, religion, and other divisive issues are left at the door.

  • Hops typically take about 2 weeks to dry. Use screens and a fan to gently keep air flowing. DO NOT OVER-DRY; just until they get a bit crinkly.
