I agree this movie was shitty. Boring and totally stupid. The description on Netflix made it sound dope so I added it to my que and then when I got it and watched it I was amazed at how stupid it was. I too am a black person, and my family and I loved this film. We didn't find it stereotypical at all. In fact, it was refreshing to see a film that didn't stereotype black people. It had a profound message of right and wrong, in spite of color.

The acting is remarkable. The plot keeps you at the edge of your seat. It's a solidly directed film. It has a twist at the end you will not see coming. It's just so smart. I'm telling you, the acting is some of the best I've seen. It's a home run! It has won two Best Director Awards at film festivals.
