downloaded installer but wont load

@willowbrook520 well ifyou do it that way it will work out if you have admin rights on your home pc :) no problem :)

@willowbrook520 now i know why it is not bootable. you first got tot install that on a computer with admin rights. after youve installed that on the usb, put the usb in the other computer where you need the password and boot that. now it will work perfectly.

@Arabs4breakfast He is booting from the Ophcrack image that he downloaded. This is due to the fact that he is using virtualbox and this program does not allow him to boot from USB. During this stage,@3:53 you would restart your computer and boot from your USB Flash drive.

it doent work i followed all these steps but when i restarted it doesnt open the ophcrack menu thing any one knows what to do? :S

@Mrunknown951 u might need to set ur priorities when your computer boots up

@Mrunknown951 yeah. if you restart you will have to boot the usb. most computers have got a boot menu on the start screen. opens either with esc or f2 or f12. there you have to set what the pc is supposed to boot (to start first). if you just have your usb in there, the pc will first load windows, and that is the excact thing you want to avoid.

i have downloaded everything :D and it is on my USB stick, just ma PC won't gimme the option to boot from the USB device :(

Restart you Pc and when it starts you have to pres F2 , that will take you to the Pc system and form there you have to find "Firs bootable Device" it may bee HDD, change it to "Boot from Cd" or Usb if it has...

Than make it boot from CD, its almoust the same
