Stupid paint job is a weak cover for continuing uninspired and "safe", stagnant styling prevalent in most high end car mfrs nowadays.

If a car mfr made copies of the beautiful classic 70s and 80s cars with modern engines, efficiency and technology inside, they would make a killing.

They have run out of vision because they can't even see this.

why stop at the 70s and 80s? that was the worst time for cars due to EPA regulations. i say go back to the 40s-late 60s.

yeah, but you still dont know what the finished job will look like, difficult to see creases in the bodywork and proportions of the doors, panels, lights. all that. more attentions is good, more publicity and people wanting more

thats right, but you dont see the model exactly (body and so on)- its more like an optical illusion. -> not a bad idea, the old way they covered up the cars was too obviously and you could see almost everything. if you pay attention, you cant even see the lights here, so i think its good.
