if your not lined up with the runway, which you werent, Dont bank the aircraft to get lined up..... theres a really helpfull tool called "the Rudder"

Flying the heavies solo is neither easy nor fun.

That's why i always fly those using something called "Multi Crew Experience" (for which a free demo can be downloaded).

I can talk to my virtual co-pilot, give him instructions to flip switches, dial speed, altitude and heading. He does everything realistically. To top it up, i can talk to Native FS or Radar Contact ATC.

You'll need a microphone though, LOL ;-))

That beeping noise is the NAV1 Audio transmitter, When you've tuned your ILS FRQ into your NAV1 radio and set it to active, It will beep to tell you that the aircraft has picked up on the ILS.

To turn it off, just go to your radio stack, go to the bottom and you'll see some round things, press the one labelled NAV1.

BTW, you should use an IFR flightplan rguilarte, the controllers will 'vector' you onto the final approach course, vector you along your flightplan and inbetween waypoints.

once youv'e intercepted the localizer for an ILS landing u can switch ur NAV 1 back to standy, so u dont keep on hearing the damn annoying beep.

the plane seemed like it went 150 knots or 120 knots that plane is WAYYY to fast for landing.. even speed brakes and the putting engine to reverse wouldnt stop it from going off the runway..

You cant know the planes speed without watching the gauges, i think that speed was just normal, and not really too high. 747´s normal landing speed is around 130-160 knots.

in real life it is a go-around... any real life pilot would execute missed approach in that situation...

I'm still looking for the "Close Call". All I see is a landing that starts out a little off centerline, perhaps from a slight crosswind or just a sloppy approach. A go-around might have been the better call.

There really was no wind involved...you were not aligned with the runway originally. You were coming in from the right and you didnt properly align the aircraft during the approach phase of the flight.

this sounds helps the pilots...then they know that they have ILS contact (glideslope contact)...but normally the pilots can make them off with the butten -"call"- under the NAV1 button or the other butten (don't know what the pilot was jusing...but doesn't matter and normally they juse NAV1)...

I didn't see a gust of wind on the aircraft but its a B747 so it might not have shown. But you were a but off to the left on your approach, even for there being in a crosswind. Still a great landing. Not too jarring for the passengers.

Hit the Alt key, then go to Options and select Instant Replay. Enter the seconds before your current position to be shown in the replay. You can do that infinite times and record the situation from any view. At least that's teh menu order in FS2004. It's probably the same in FS X.
