I want one only if they are the same as the show car , Holden don't change the wheels and pull off the rear pillars etc I want one same as the show car to production leave it just the way it is straight into production hurry up and make a release date so I can put my order in :)
It IS related to the US Chevrolet Colorado (it's a rebadged Isuzu D-Max, they share the same platform), but the name "Colorado" has no significance in Australia, unless you count the clothing store chain. Colorado is the name of a river in the United States, as well as a state. It's Spanish for "red".
The might as well have called it the Holden We're Too Lazy.
This Colorado is too beautiful to be used as a truck man. the design process is amazing.whats me wonder why the HSV guys didn't just take a step or 2 back and see what they've done for the HSV E2 facelift...those r ugly as man. Phil Hardening you dumbass!
my parents met one of the guys who designed this they hadnt seen the car but i had and if i was there i would of told exactly what i thought and that is the hilux still beats the shit out of it
I don't really care for it I know that concept model wont' sell very well here in the USA for sure,a different design is needed for those of us here in the USA.
But, what is is for? It looks like another vehicle that makes gas prices soar, what is the MPG? Most people use them as cars to haul a bag of groceries.
Still, we need the Silverado here or atleast a Commodore based SUV and Pick-up. Like how the territory and falcon are the same just different type of vehicle.
@robjsaunders1 Actually Isuzu stopped making the car for holden, thats why the D-Max is being sold in Australia. Its the same as the last model Rodeo. This colorado is a GM one but still not a Holden one.
There is NO doubt that if this piece of designing excellence is mated with reliability, practicality and performance (V8 is a MUST) it would no longer be a contender or shadow behind the benchmark Hilux it would ex-cede and be the new King of the road.
Fuck it I'll buy a Toyota Hillux, nice looking Truck tho just doesn't grab my attention with a Yank badge on the side of it.

My only question is, is the Colorado designed and developed in Australia? Here in the USA, it's sold as the Chevrolet Colorado.

You have all been fooled
If you stick a Ford badge, on a Holden, does it make it a FORD....NO
If you stick a HOLDEN badge on a FORD, does it make it a HOLDEN.....NO
If you stick a HOLDEN badge on an ISUZU, does it make it a HOLDEN...NO
It is a JAPANESE ISUZU UTE
Its as much a HOLDEN as I am.
